Liam Ashley was a 17-year-old boy from New Zealand who had criminal charges pressed against him by his parents for using their car without permission. His parents denied bail so he would be sent to prison.

They wanted to correct their son’s behaviour, and prevent any additional crimes being committed because Liam had "minor trouble" with the authorities in the past.

However, while being transported in a prison van, Liam was attacked by a dangerous offender and sadly killed.

Jasmine Fiore’s body was discovered in August 2009 in a suitcase. Her remains had been mutilated to prevent recognition, eventually identified by the serial numbers of her breast implants.

Her murderer was her husband Ryan Jenkins, who came in 3rd on VH1 series, 'Megan Wants a Millionaire' which aired that same month.

Jenkins was found dead in a hotel room in Canada, after committing suicide.

Disturbing interview with Dennis Andrew Nilsen, a serial killer who killed at least twelve young men and boys between 1978 and 1983. Nilsen was sentenced to life imprisonment on 4 November 1983, with a recommendation that he serve a minimum of 25 years. He died in 2018.

In 2016, the body of fitness coach Missy Bevers was found at Creekside Church in Texas. Shortly before the incident, security footage recorded an individual in police tactical gear. Authorities believe the person captured in the video is the person responsible the murder.

A woman under the name of Jennifer Fairgate checked into a hotel in Oslo in 1995, but was later found dead in her room. The problem is that the name and address were fake and nobody knew her or claimed her body. The case remains unresolved, but she is likely a spy.

The Judas Cradle was a torture method that started by sitting the victim on the pyramid-shaped cradle. The victim would then be forced down by ropes with the intention of stretching the victim's orifice over a long period of time, impaling him slowly.

The victim was usually undressed and the device was seldom washed, meaning, if the torture doesn't terminate the victim, the infection contracted from it would.

In 2007, Gordon Ramsay visited the restaurant ’Campania’ in Fair Lawn, New Jersey USA, for an episode of Kitchen Nightmares where he told the owner, Joe Cerniglia, that his business was “about to swim down the fucking Hudson River” if he didn’t change.

Sadly, just three years later in 2010, Joe Cerniglia committed suicide by jumping off the George Washington Bridge into the Hudson River.

Scaphism was a method of execution that was designed to inflict a lingering, painful and humiliating death, to those who were untortunate enough to experience it.

The victim would be trapped between two boats, or other hollow objects, and their exposed head, arms and legs covered in honey.

They would then be force fed nothing but milk and honey, before being left in the sun, or in a stagnant pool.

Flies, other insects and rodents would be attracted to the victim, and would slowly eat them.

Born in 1888, Grace McDaniels, also known as the "Mule-Faced Woman," initially displayed a normal physical appearance.

However, as she aged, her face became severely deformed as a result of Sturge–Weber syndrome.

Grace eventually joined Harry Lewiston's Traveling Circus, where she was paid $175 per week.

Grace died of natural causes in between tours in Chicago, Illinois, in 1958.

In 2007, Grainne Kealy shattered every bone in her face when an airbag deployed during a 120mph crash, while her feet were on top of the dashboard. The airbag then blasted her knees up towards her head.

The incident also resulted in a brain leak, minor brain injury, and the loss of two teeth.

She lived without a forehead for two years between 2007 and 2009 before eventually having a new Italian ceramic one fitted.

In 1752, an altercation between Ewan Macdonald and Robert Parker escalated when, as Parker attempted to leave, Macdonald pursued him and inflicted a fatal stab wound to his throat.

Macdonald was found guilty of murder and hanged on the town moor in Newcastle, England. His body was sent to the dissection theater of a local medical school.

However, upon entering the theater, a surgeon found Macdonald sitting up on the operating table, dazed and very confused.

The dissecting surgeon immediately smashed Macdonald over the head with a mallet, which killed him for real this time.

In December 2009, a 25-year-old chemistry student called Vladimir Likhonos lost his life due to exploding chewing gum.

Vladimir had an unusual practice of enhancing the sour taste of his chewing gum by dipping it in citric acid.

Authorities discovered approximately 100 grams of an unidentified explosive powder on his work table, which he utilized for his home chemistry experiments.

This powder was determined to be four times more potent than TNT.

It is speculated that Vladimir inadvertently mistook the explosive powder for citric acid and coated his gum with it before chewing.

The explosion was likely triggered by the reaction of the explosive powder with Vladimir's saliva or the pressure exerted when he chewed on the gum coated with the powder.

The explosion resulted in a severe injury that blew off Vladimir’s jaw. He sadly died from his injuries.
