For the vile crime, his mother, Pearl Fernandez and her boyfriend, Isauro Aguirre were charged and convicted of first-degree murder with special circumstances of torture. Pearl was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole and Aguirre was sentenced to death.

In 2019, it was discovered that 61-year-old Cynthia Carolyn Black had stored her grandmother’s body in a freezer for 15 years so that she could claim her social security checks. The body was discovered wrapped in garbage bags and sheets in an outhouse freezer.

After 15 months of investigating, Black was arrested for abuse of a corpse, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property. She was eventually sentenced to serve up to 4 years in prison.

Johnny David Gosch, born on November 12, 1969, was a paperboy in West Des Moines, lowa, who went missing between 6 and 7 a.m. on September 5, 1982. He is believed to have been abducted.

Johnny's mother, Noreen Gosch, claimed that in 1997, Johnny managed to escape his captors and paid her a visit, accompanied by an unidentified man.

According to Noreen, Johnny disclosed that he had been a victim of child trafficking and had been abandoned when he outgrew their use. He expressed fears for his safety and chose to live under a new identity, believing it was too risky to return home.

In contrast, Johnny's father, John, who had been divorced from Noreen since 1993, publicly expressed uncertainty about the validity of this visit. Some speculated that the visit did occur but involved an imposter posing as Johnny.

To this day, authorities have been unable to locate Johnny or verify Noreen Gosch's account, leaving the mystery of Johnny's disappearance unresolved.

Deposed Ugandan dictator Idi Amin on his deathbed, August 2003. Overthrown in 1979, Amin lived the majority of the rest of his life in relative obscurity in Saudi Arabia.

Amin's reign was marked by widespread human rights violations, including political suppression, ethnic discrimination, and extrajudicial executions.

According to international observers and human rights organizations, it is estimated that between 100,000 and 500,000 individuals lost their lives during his regime.

Earlier this month schoolboy Harris Wolobah sadly lost his life after eating the spiciest chip in the world.

The One Chip Challenge emerged as a social media trend back in 2016, following the release of Paqui's Carolina Reaper chip, renowned as one of the world's spiciest chili peppers.

Participating in the challenge entails devouring the chip and refraining from consuming any food or beverages afterward in an attempt to endure the intense heat.

Tragically, 14-year-old Harris Wolobah, a student from Massachusetts, received this fiery tortilla chip from a classmate as part of the challenge and consumed it.

Shortly after ingesting the extremely spicy chip, Harris began experiencing severe abdominal pain. His condition rapidly deteriorated, and by the time he was rushed to the hospital, he had already tragically lost his life.

In 2004, the future President of Ukraine, Viktor Yuschenko, fell victim to poisoning with Dioxin during the lead-up to the presidential elections.

Experts confirmed that Yushchenko had been exposed to TCDD dioxin, with his body containing a concentration 1,000 times higher than normal.

The poisoning incident has been linked to a dinner gathering with senior Ukrainian officials held on September 5.

Yushchenko himself implicated Davyd Zhvania, the godfather of one of his children, in the dioxin poisoning.

Although he survived the assassination attempt, he has lasting skin scars as a consequence.
