Mark Van Dongen's life was ruined when his ex girlfriend poured sulphuric acid on him while he slept, 25% of his body was burned. This led to many physical and mental problems for him. He ultimately made the decision to die by assisted suicide in 2017.

In August 2023, Michael Zanera saw a crucifix while welding train tracks at work on the Milan to Turin line in Italy. He thought it was weird so he recorded it and posted the video online. Less than 24 hours later, he passed away after being hit by a train.

The Setagaya Family were killed on December 30th, 2000. The killer remained in their house for several hours afterwards eating their food, logging into the family computer, and even sleeping on their couch. The individual responsible for the crime has never been identified.

Tamara "Strawberry" Greene was an exotic dancer who was hired to dance at an alleged party at the Detroit Mayor's Mansion in Sept 2002. When the Mayor's wife walked in on the soirée, an alleged fight happened between her and Tamara. Tamara filed a police report following the incident. But unexpectedly, just a few months later, she was killed in a drive-by shooting. Her case is still unsolved.

In May 2017, on Putney Bridge in London, an unidentified male jogger forcefully pushed a woman walking on a pedestrian walkway into the path of an oncoming bus.
The man calmly continued jogging without a pause or change in pace, even as the woman fell backward onto the road. The bus driver skillfully swerved just moments before impact, narrowly avoiding hitting her.
The bus stopped, and people poured out to help her. Bizarrely and brazenly the jogger eventually proceeded to jog the opposite side of the bridge, where the victim confronted him. He ignored her.
CCTV footage of the attempted murder went viral, and photos of the man circulated on the internet. During the course of the year long investigation, several people were arrested for the crime. None were charged.
Despite the city’s vast CCTV network, the jogging man has never been identified. The police closed the case in 2018 after the leads dried up.

Ana di Pištonja, also known as Baba Anujka, was a serial killer in Yugoslavia who committed between 50 and 150 murders using her "love potions" that she sold to women who were having marital problems. The woman gave these arsenic-laced potions to their husbands, killing then days later. She was apprehended in 1928 at the age of 90, but due to her advanced age, she was released after 8 years. She died in 1938 aged 100.

Akbar Salubiro was a 25-year-old man who went missing on March 25, 2017, after setting off for harvest in a remote village in Indonesia. Akbar's remains were found two days later after residents cut open the belly of a reticulated python and found Salubiro dead inside.

Aleksandr Komin was a Russian slave-owner and serial killer. He kept 6 people as prisoners in a 30-feet deep bunker forcing them to work 16 hours a day. When two women tried to escape, they were caught and Aleksandr stamped "РАБ"(Russian for "slave") on their faces. 4 of his prisoners were murdered.

Alicia Sanchez and her son Carlos, drove to Death Valley, California for an overnight camping trip when her GPS directed them into the middle of nowhere. With her car stuck in the sand, the two became stranded in the hot desert. 5 days later, Alicia was found by a park ranger but Carlos had died.

Mother's day card made by eight-year-old Gabriel Fernandez in 2013 for his mother. Less than two weeks later, on May 24th, 2013, his mother and her boyfriend beat him to death.
For the vile crime, his mother, Pearl Fernandez and her boyfriend, Isauro Aguirre were charged and convicted of first-degree murder with special circumstances of torture. Pearl was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole and Aguirre was sentenced to death.
