A photographer from a local paper was documenting the air pollution on a bridge above the Yangtze River when he captured this shot of a man who had jumped to his death. Moments later, a woman followed him. Bodies were never found, but belongings washed up from the water.

In 2017, a bald man in Mozambique was decapitated because the men who killed him believed he had gold in his head.

The police think the notion of a bald head containing gold is a ruse by witchdoctors to get clients to take a person's head to them.

Singaporean death row inmate Nagaenthran K. Dharmalingam eats his last meal before execution.

Nagaenthran K. Dharmalingam was a Malaysian drug trafficker who was convicted of trafficking 42.72 grams of heroin in April 2009 upon entering Singapore from Malaysia at Woodlands Checkpoint with a bundle of heroin strapped to his thigh.

Prior to Nagaenthran's execution, his case attracted international attention, with many activists and foreign organizations asking for Singapore to commute Nagaenthran's death sentence to life imprisonment due to his alleged low IQ and overall, to abolish the death penalty while condemning Singapore for its use of the death penalty on drug traffickers.

He was executed on 27 April 2022 at the age of 33.

In July 2016, Spanish bullfighter Victor Barrio, was killed on live television when he was gored by a bull named Lorenzo during a bullfight. This image shows him just seconds before his death. His horrified wife, father, sister, and grandparents watched as the dreadful incident unfolded.

In 2013, while applying for a job as an investigative journalist, film-maker Lee Halpin was filming a documentary about the hardships of being homeless by living as one. Unfortunately he was found dead just 3 days into filming.

Sixteen-year-old Terressa Vanegas of Dickinson, Texas, was last seen walking home at around 11:00 PM on October 31, 2006.

On November 3, her body was found in a disused soccer field, lying facedown in a puddle. The teenage girl had been raped and strangled.

According to her family, Terressa was murdered with her own belt. The killer also felt the need to cut her long hair short.

Not long beforehand, Terressa’s friend, 15-year-old Kimberly Ramsey, had gone missing. She was found alive not long after Terressa was murdered, and the person she was with was charged with harboring a runaway. However, it was ultimately determined that her disappearance had nothing to do with the murder.

As of 2018, Terressa’s case was still considered open, but detectives admitted that they were short on clues. Many leads had been followed, and 45 people had been questioned about the murder, but no suspects had been named

Sydney Loofe posted this image to social media before being strangled to death on a Tinder date. The man who killed her, Aubrey Trail, claimed the death was an accident that happened during a sexual encounter gone wrong.

Trail and his girlfriend Bailey Boswell were convicted of first-degree murder in 2017.

This is the last known photo taken of reggae legend Bob Marley before he succumbed to cancer on May 11, 1981. He was on his way home to Jamaica, but never made it. He died at a hospital in Miami at the age of 36. His final words to his son Ziggy were “Money can’t buy life.”

In 2013, a Florida man, Jeff Bush, was sleeping in his bedroom when a large sinkhole opened up directly underneath his bed, swallowing him and his entire bedroom. His brother heard him scream, but was unable to see or reach him in time. Bush’s body was never recovered.

When Tatanysha Hedman discovered that her husband, Vincent Phillips, abused their daughter, she took matters into her own hands and set him on fire.

The 40-year-old mother waited for her husband to fall asleep, then she poured kerosene on him and lit a match. She later admitted to police that she intentionally set him on fire because shooting him would have been "too nice”.

Between 1972 and 1982, Kiyotaka Katsuta is believed to have murdered up to 22 people in Japan. He was also an award-winning firefighter. This is an image of Katsuta being interviewed on television in the midst of his killing spree.
