The biggest gainers on the Nifty included Hindalco Industries, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Auto, JSW Steel and Tata Motors, while losers were ONGC, NTPC, Adani Enterprises, UPL and Adani Ports.

Top losers on the Nifty included HUL, M&M, TCS, IndusInd Bank and HCL Technologies, while gainers were Coal India, Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank

All sectoral indices, barring Nifty realty, ended in the red. The financial services, pharma, bank, IT, FMCG and healthcare index settled over a percent lower

Biggest Nifty losers included Power Grid Corporation, Apollo Hospitals, Eicher Motors and Maruti Suzuki, while HUL, Infosys, TCS and Bharti Airtel were among the gainers

NTPC, HDFC Life, PowerGrid Corp, ONGC and Bharat Petroleum Corp were among the top Nifty gainers. The big losers were Eicher Motors Ltd, JSW Steel, SBI Life, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Britannia Industries

On the sectoral front, except IT all other indices ended in the red with realty index down nearly 3.5 percent, PSU Bank and Media indices down 2 percent each, while capital goods, FMCG, healthcare, metal and power indices fell 1 percent each.

The biggest Nifty losers included Adani Enterprises, Coal India, Adani Ports, Power Grid Corporation and NTPC, while gainers were ITC, UltraTech Cement, HCL Technologies, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank

Tata Steel, M&M, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and Apollo Hospitals were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Tata Consumer Products, UPL, Infosys, Adani Ports and Titan

For the March F&O series and for a month, the Nifty50 index gained 1.6 percent, while in the FY24 the index surged by 28.6 percent

Except telecom and media, all other sectoral indices ended trading in the red

HDFC Bank, L&T, Bharti Airtel, BPCL and Axis Bank were among the top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Adani Ports, Tata Consumer, Tech Mahindra, Titan and M&M

Among sectoral gainers, Nifty Pharma led with a gain of 1.4 percent, followed by Nifty IT and Nifty Auto, which rose 0.9 percent each.

Top Nifty gainers were Coal India, BPCL, HUL, Tata Consumer Products and Bharti Airtel, while losers were Shriram Finance, Dr Reddy's Labs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, UltraTech Cement and Reliance Industries.

For the week, BSE Sensex and Nifty50 indices shed 1.5 percent each.

Top Nifty gainers are ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, BPCL, Britannia Industries and Bharat Electronics, while losers are Bajaj Auto, Wipro, Bajaj Finance, Hindalco and HDFC Life.
