@t.me/MonePlan | ๐ŸŒฑ Stop relying on Corporate Health Insurance and buy your own policy! !
๐Ÿ›ก Think about it |
Your corporate cover of โ‚น 5 Lakh or โ‚น 10 Lakh is only valid until you quit or get laid off or start something of your own.
๐Ÿ›ก The cover was never yours & yet so many high-income professionals have never bought their own health policy.
๐Ÿ›ก Nithin Kamath wrote about this recently. His point was simple | If you develop a health condition while under employer insurance & then try to buy a personal policy, insurers treat it as pre-existing. You're underwritten as someone buying for the first time, with a medical history you accumulated over years of feeling "covered."

๐Ÿ›ก I left corporate life 6 years to start MonePlan Investory. My group insurance ended the day I resigned. But my personal policy - the one I bought years ago while still employed - stayed exactly where it was.
๐Ÿ›ก Waiting periods already served. No-claim bonus built. Nothing to re-prove.
๐Ÿ›ก That decision, made when I didn't need it, became the one that mattered when I did.

๐Ÿ›ก If you're employed right now, you have a window.
๐Ÿ›ก You're healthy, insurable & your premiums are lower.
๐Ÿ›ก Don't wait until you're buying health insurance because you have to, Buy it now because you can .

Asian Markets Morning Opening Updates |
Asian markets trade Lower in Morning Trade.
โ–ช๏ธAsia-Pacific markets opened lower on Monday, April 13, 2026, as investors assessed the fragility of a two-week ceasefire between the U.S. & Iran & continued concerns over the Strait of Hormuz remaining largely closed.
โ–ช๏ธJapan | The Nikkei 225 fell 0.73% to close at 55,895.32, while the broad Topix dropped 0.90% on Thursday, April 9, following a sharp rally the previous day; the trend continued into the new trading week amid volatile oil prices.
โ–ช๏ธSouth Korea | The KOSPI Index declined 1.61% to finish at 5,778.01, with the Small-cap Kosdaq shedding 1.27% as the market digested accusations from Iran's parliamentary speaker that the U.S. breached the ceasefire deal.
โ–ช๏ธChina & Hong Kong | Mainland China's CSI 300 fell 0.64% to 4,566.22, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index dropped 0.71% as regional equities reacted to jitters over the Middle East conflict.
โ–ช๏ธOil Prices | West Texas Intermediate crude gained 1.72% to $99.55 per barrel, and Brent crude rose 1.80% to $97.65, reflecting ongoing fears that the vital energy waterway remains restricted despite the temporary truce.
โ–ช๏ธMarket Sentiment | Investors remain on tenterhooks regarding the conflict's duration, with the Strait of Hormuz traffic continuing to be largely restricted, stoking fears of a prolonged war & global economic downturn.
โ–ช๏ธEconomic Outlook | The Asian Development Bank (ADB) warned on April 10 that prolonged hostilities could severely impact the region, potentially slowing 2026 growth to 4.7% (from 5.4% in 2025) & pushing inflation up to 5.6%. ADB President Masato Kanda described the crisis as a "formidable test," noting the ceasefire appears "fairly fragile."

U.S. Markets Closing Updates | S&P 500 slips Friday, but Index posts best week since November after fragile Iran ceasefire deal
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
The S&P 500 fell slightly on Friday, but the index managed to post a solid weekly gain as traders kept an eye on the fragile two-week ceasefire between the U.S. & Iran.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The broad market index dropped 0.11% to end at 6,816.89, while the Nasdaq Composite
moved higher by 0.35% and closed at 22,902.89, bolstered by gains in key semiconductor stocks such as Nvidia & Broadcom.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 269.23 points, or 0.56%, ending at 47,916.57.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Still, the S&P 500 added about 3.6% this week & the Nasdaq rose about 4.7% in the period. The Dow, meanwhile, gained 3% on the week. The Indexes posted their best weekly performances since November.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ President Donald Trump on Friday accused Iran of โ€œshort term extortion of the World by using International Waterways,โ€ saying in a Truth Social post that its leaders โ€œdonโ€™t seem to realize they have no cardsโ€ and that โ€œthe only reason they are alive today is to negotiate!โ€
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ This comes a day after the president warned that Iran should not charge fees to oil tankers that are traveling through the Strait of Hormuz, writing in a post on Truth Social: โ€œThey better not be and, if they are, they better stop now!โ€
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Oil prices seesawed as concerns around the straitโ€™s reopening hovered over the market.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ West Texas Intermediate crude futures ultimately fell 1.33% to settle at $96.57 a barrel & international benchmark Brent crude futures declined 0.75% to settle at $95.20.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Inflation was top of mind for investors this week as they assessed a number of key reports amid concerns that rising energy prices spurred by the conflict in the Middle East would ripple through the U.S. economy.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Marchโ€™s Consumer Price Index report showed that inflation was in line with expectations, standing at 0.9% for the month & 3.3% on an annual basis. That incorporated a 10.9% jump in energy costs due to the conflict.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ When excluding energy prices, however, the report revealed inflation was tame last month. Core CPI increased just 0.2% for the month & 2.6% compared with a year ago, coming in below expectations. Inflation had been sticky at 3% heading into the Iran war, which has been going on for nearly six weeks.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nevertheless, the war has still led to a jump in inflation fears. According to a University of Michigan survey released Friday, consumers are anticipating that inflation will jump to 4.8% over the next year. Thatโ€™s up a full percentage point from Marchโ€™s reading.
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ โ€œThe Fed will do everything in its power to look past whatever data points it gets for March & April,โ€ said Tim Holland, chief investment officer at Orion. Thatโ€™s assuming โ€œthere is an off-ramp between the U.S., Israel & Iran,โ€ he added.
