the concept of 'hikaru' being the second choice will never be logical to me. he literally gave yoshiki a piece of himself after almost getting killed by him, and he urged to leave their village just because he didn’t want to hurt yoshiki anymore

‘ I love you yoshiki, not hikaru's feelings, mine, the monster's feelings ’ not even the real hikaru could love yoshiki like that

on top of that, yoshiki keeps denying he’d do anything for 'hikaru' and it pisses me off even more. like be srs he spent weeks and months researching just to learn what 'hikaru' really is and then he LITERALLY begged on his knees for him to stay
