(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Tuesday, 1 September 2026, at TRIBE Phnom Penh Post Office Square, Her Excellency Someth Somnea, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the opening of the training workshop on "Sales and Communication Skills for Export: Preparing for SIAL PARIS 2026." The event brought together Ms. Cristina Novio Garcia, Programme Officer of the European Union Delegation to Cambodia; Mr. Till Ahnert, Project Director of the EU-German GATE project at GIZ Cambodia; and Mr. Martin Thisted, International Training Expert. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the European Union, and the German Federal Government, the initiative aims to equip Cambodian business representatives with the necessary confidence, proactive readiness, and practical capabilities ahead of face-to-face engagements with prospective trade partners.

This intensive two-day training emphasizes hands-on application to sharpen commercial communication and negotiation skills aligned with European market expectations.
