Clef supports Merged Lyrics out of the box! But wait, what exactly is that? 🧐
Think of it as a "Lyric Fusion." While most players simply ignore external TTML files, Clef embraces them. It takes the standard LRC lyrics (and translations) from your music metadata and merges them with matching external TTML/LYR files in the same folder.
And...Why do it this way?
1. The Best of Both: You get high-end features like syllable-level karaoke and phonetics from the TTML, without losing the translations in your metadata.
2. Clean & Flexible: Many TTML files come with messy or missing translations. With this design, you can keep a "clean" external TTML for the fancy effects and let the metadata handle the language you actually want.
