If you guys are learning a new language, especially system languages, try implementing a Base64 encoder. Surprisingly, it solidifies many concepts in that language quickly.

Ethio-telecom please stop nerfing my internet. I need it for work and the money from that work will eventually make its way to you somehow. I am bound to you as long as I live here. I have to perform a religious ritual every time I want to update my system or download a file larger than 200 MB. Don't give me 1.2 MB then downgrade to 12kb bruh.

My internet speed has finally picked up! We're now rocking 60 to 100 Kbps. I would call these baby steps. But the baby is Benjamin Button and he got shot behind the barn and is crawling pathetically calling for an ambulance that will run him over.

Remember watching this in 2019 and loving it so much. A pretty damn good thriller, can't believe I didn't recommend it yet.

This is honestly a great idea for an app and I just tried it out! It's a pretty neat idea for people who want to learn things and want some structure. Definitely incorporating this to how I am learning.

My son is almost 1 month old.

So far he doesn't have a job, doesn't have a driver's license, doesn't have any computer certifications, hasn't been featured in any documentaries. He hasn't even TRIED to learn to code despite all the C programming books I bought him.

I sat down with him and said, "Son, it's been a whole month and you haven't done anything. How do YOU do that?!"

He then pooped his pants and squirmed around in his onesie.

I am sometimes amazed that we even got electricity here. At some point you realise that everything you own is junk without electricity and you start to think how you'll forage, hunt and gather. You start recognising scents you thought you'd forgotten, chores you thought you did, socks you should've washed a week ago.

You look to your window, the canvas of colors paints your vision. It's the outside. It's been so long.

You check the time, it's 6:02PM, or is it 12:02PM local time? Better use 24 hour format, so you say 18:02, and suddenly you realize that 18 is really close to the number 24. Most of your day has gone by, hasn't it? You have been staring at the ceiling so long that it feels like it's staring back.

You look at your phone, you try to click the power button, but nothing works. The battery is dead. As the first shadows of night invade your vision and the last rays of sun disappear behind the horizon, you wonder: "has this room always been this dark at this hour?"

The space around you feels larger, this once familiar place feels new to your senses. Then in a flash it occurs to you: "Who's to judge in this darkness, this vastness, this blackness of space and vision: if I were to undress and walk around freely? It's a lawless country after all!" You withdraw a sock, then pull on a sleeve until you're down to the briefs. "If there was any law here, any law at all, a smidgen of justice, we wouldn't be denied the benefit of electricity which we pay for!" You raise your arms proudly–you're a new man meant for a new world–a lawless world. A world without the old shackles that bind us to this mortal coil.

What's that? Power is back? Why am I naked? Hmmmm... well see you guys around. I got work to do and future bills to worry about.
