An incentivized testnet8 is planned for October, since more time is needed to test the virtual machine and smart contracts. The coins farmed will translate to mainnet 1-to-1, however the min block reward will be lower (0.2 MMX instead of 0.5 MMX). The rewards will be tied to your reward address used at the time, so you need to keep (and backup) the associated wallet seed. testnet8 will also see a new wallet format, with mnemoic seed words and HD-wallet style key derivation from bitcoin. BLS farmer/pool keys are unchanged of course, only your MMX addresses will change for the same wallet seed.
