I almost died.


I saw heaven’s gate and came back to life quickly.


My life flashes through my eyes.


My leg wobbled, my head began rolling in the air till my feet gave up. 


Some seconds down the line I found myself laying down on the floor of the Boxing Ring at our gym.


I had never been hit like this in my entire Life!


I received the exact Same Hook I intend to give my sparring partner but he was much faster than I am


Week passed, months passed and the only logical reason why that happened was Speed


The reason Muhammad Ali was able to tear down the Big George foreman wasn't power because clearly the Big George foreman was much bigger and powerful than Muhammad Ali.


The only reason Muhammad Ali knocked out George Foreman on 0ctober 30, 1974 was Speed and a well planned strategy!


Speed makes you invincible and helps you conquer your hurdles in life.


There is this saying By Higher performance people that “Money loves speed”


Well not just money, result loves speed!


Fail fast, succeed fast. Fail slow, succeed slow! Easy formula to life.

Another Day to Chase the pips...

As a Forex trader.


You'll sometimes fall into a losing streak period.


If you've back tested your strategy and traded it long enough you'll see it happening over time.



It's normal, no witches or village people are against you 😅😅


You just need numbers , patience and time.

You'll need more trades to be victorious over those losses, you'll need time to sail through that difficult time and patience to understand it's normal.


There is no trader on earth that never faces losing streak period.


It's okay, just keep your head high and don't lose believe in your strategy.


If you have a good RR trades like MLB system, when a few profits comes it will cover those losses and you'll be in Good profit.



Don't forget, trading isn't Gambling it's business.


And in business there is losing and winning period.


Your job as a business man, is to keep your Risk calculated at all time.

Said in a loud voice by someone who just delivered a nasty boxing combos on his Old homie’s body.



Well these words came out of Micheal B Jordan’s mouth in a movie scene “Creed 3”


Here is a little short story about what happened in the movie:



Creed had an older friend (we call friends homie in the hood) they do a lot of stuff together especially boxing.



His friend’s Dame is a promising boxer with some belts won from local boxing competition.



At some point Dame got locked up for a Crime Creed committed while they were in their teens.



While dame was locked up, creed never checked up on dame nor reply back Dame’s letter (the ones he sent while he was in prison)



15 Years down the line. Creed's already retired as a light heavyweight champion of the world and Dame got out of prison trying to put his life Together…



Yet, his dreams are still green in his head.



Finally, Dame got a shot at the title and became the heavyweight champion of the world.



At some point Dame called Creed out of retirement and they had to face each other for heavyweight champion of the world belt…


Now Dame thought the fight would be an easy fight. Shockingly for him Creed was loaded up for the fight as well…



Both had come in prepared but Dame underestimated his opponent…



In about a couple of rounds into the fight. Creed landed some good combos and he said:



“You think this shit was going to be easy?”



Now, these words remind me of my early days when I started Trading in the Forex market. I thought it would be an easy journey!


Everyday, I would seat in our Bank’s bulk room (as an ex bank worker) calculating how much I'll be making daily, weekly and monthly)


I thought I would just get on-board and money would start flowing in…


But the reverse is the case.


I guess you thought the same thing too.


You think it's a get rich quick scheme where you'll just come everyday, make your money and close your computer or phone…


Well the truth is Forex isn't an easy journey, most people fail before they reach the success line.

Those were the exact words he jokingly said to me in Yoruba after receiving some Hot blows on my fine chin.


In my mind,i nill the voice screaming inside of me saying:



Now you got punched in the face, truly you found what you're looking for!



Week passed, months passed I'm better than the guy that couldn't face his fears in the boxing Ring...



You see, a couple of months ago two people started training for boxing the same day.


Myself and a funny dude I call an acquaintance. One of them went further into sparing to practice what he had learnt from Pad and bag work. This was me.



At the start, it was scary. I thought I was tough, my eyes opened up to how vulnerable I was facing someone who has trained almost 3 years before I started...


I received constant beating, got punched in the face, and got dropped with Hard hot hooks a few times.



But I was soaking in knowledge, experience and building confidence in terms of defences.



On the other hand, the dude I started with couldn't proceed to sparing.


It was obvious he was scared of getting punched in the face.


At some point he even laughed at me the day I got hit on my chin and jokingly said:



You looked for pain, you found it, woohoo!



That motivated me, I began to focus more on my weakness, built more confidence and became better skilled than the other guy who never tried to step into the ring…



Today I'm much better, filled with confidence and i feel more alive knowing within myself that:



That I know what to do when I find myself in violence situations I can't run from but have to defend myself or my loved ones.



To Top it off, I feel more alive, more social, more outspoken and more presence.



These are my goals and they were achieved because I faced my fears. I didn't allow others' decisions or opinions to rub me off what I could achieve.



Remember those you started trading Forex with as well? Those that only demo traded and fled.


Those that told you you can't make it, well if you face your fear and keep moving even after losing loads of money.


You correct your mistakes and keep moving forward doing the right thing you'll eventually win and achieve your goals.
