CPIT250 Project: System Analysis & Design
︎ The idea of this project is to design and analyse a specific system, its processes, and how the client interacts with it. It includes system behaviour and structure. Note that this project is the most effort we put into this semester, we work on it in parts kind of every week and document it until we reach the final report.

Our topic is about: Vehicle parking system

What did we do for the project:
• We defined the problem and how our system will solve it by providing suggested solutions.
• We give an overview of the system.
• We conducted an interview, and the purpose of this was to understand the client's needs or how the system should be implemented. We provided questions and noted the detailed answers.
• Before making the diagrams for the project, we collaborate to make prototypes of these diagrams to get acceptable results.
• We made data flow diagrams (DFD) from the context to level-2, including their descriptions of all levels.
• We made a use case diagram, defined the main diagram and the full diagram (with include & extend operations), and included descriptions such as the actors and the relationships between use cases.
• We made an activity diagram by defining swimlanes (that include actor activities), including a description of the process in this diagram.
• We made a class diagram, which is useful for programming, we defined classes, methods, attributes, and the relationships between classes (associations, aggregation, composition, and generalisation).
• We made sequence diagrams so that every diagram describes a scenario, including their descriptions.
• We made a state machine diagram that kind of looks like an activity diagram, but this diagram describes the states and events of these activities, including a description of the possible states and possible events in the diagram.
• We made a user interface for the entire system and showed how the user interacts with it. Here is a tutorial on how the system is used if you are interested: https://youtu.be/mah4hybkIj4?si=JpKEWOHGBgZuenbP
• We explained our future work and the expectations of our system, and then we concluded the report.

Good morning 👋, yesterday Afaq educational association (refers to #KAU) nominated me and some students for a 4-days trip to Makkah 🕋🩵. I will try InshaAllah to post my coverage day-by-day until I done a series. I hope this would be fun! 😄

Good morning 👋, yesterday Afaq educational association (refers to #KAU) nominated me and some students for a 4-days trip to Makkah 🕋🩵. I will try InshaAllah to post my coverage day-by-day until I done a series. I hope this would be fun! 😄 #Events
■ Day #1 in Makkah

● Alhumdulillah we did Umrah, and didn't forget all of you in Duaa 🙏.

● Took a workshop about "Project of a lifetime" instructed by Dr. Meshal Al-Falahi at Shiekh Bin Baz library.

● We spent the night in Four Points Hotel by Sheraton with a group of 3 in a room. My room mates specialists were Information systems, Marine studies and it was honored to meet them.

■ Day #1 in Makkah ● Alhumdulillah we did Umrah, and didn't forget all of you in Duaa 🙏. ● Took a workshop about "Project of a lifetime" instructed by Dr. Meshal Al-Falahi at Shiekh Bin Baz library. ● We spent the night in Four Points Hotel by Sheraton…
■ Day #2 in Makkah

● The breakfast is provided by the hotel and their dishes are tasty and make me confusing. It was a great experience with this floor.
• We still in the Four Points.

● We went to Shiekh Bin Baz library again and took a workshop called "Building a positive personality" instructed by Dr. Mufrih Al-Jabri (an instructor from faculty of communication & media at #KAU) and this workshop is honestly fun!

● We took an overview of the Shiekh Bin Baz library and toured its sections:
• Books & magazines sections.
• Every floor has a search guide for a specific book.
• Two sections are for only Sheikh Bin Baz, which contains his books, writings and manuscripts, and one of the sections is private so no one can enter except if he want to search about Shiekh Bin Baz old books.
• Places for learning, scientific research and also for meetings.
• Computer lab for scientific research using Internet.
• A place of indexing and checking incoming books.

● We moved into another hotel because we need a fixed place to hold a workshop, and to meet everyone in the trip instead of groups distributed among the rooms, so the appropriate hotel is Holiday Inn. They took for us a whole floor and we will stay there until the trip finishes. The villa contains:
• A lobby.
• Rooms that have a specific distribution, but we still can meet each other.
• Meeting room (All workshops will be held there).
• A big diwanyah.
• Big outdoor view.

● Makkah was raining and loved the view 🌧🩵.

● We took another workshop by Dr. Mufrih Al-Jabri, but held in the meeting room and it called "Building community initiatives", and this one is kinda relaxing due to leaning under the rain 🌧.

● We went to the Hira Culture District but we aimed to a specific place that is "Al-Wahi Exhibition" and until now it is the best exhibition that I've visited. We learned and explored stories in a cinematic way about:
• Adam (عليه السلام)
• Noah (عليه السلام)
• Ebrahem (عليه السلام)
• Essa & Musa (عليهما السلام)
• The prophet Mohammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
• We saw a simulation model of Gharr Hira.
• Ancient relics of the Qur’an during the era of the Prophet and after him.
• After we finished, we took an overview of their shop and I bought nothing 👀.

● We gathered for a dialogue session among the students and got to know each other more, and from the diversity of the participants in the trip, we met about 11 different nationalities and their foods. They are from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Kenya, Chad, Guinea, Cameroon, Ghana, China, India, Djibouti. (I hope I didn't forget anyone).
