CPIT370 Project: Computer Networks
▪️︎ The idea of the project is to design and implement a network infrastructure in 4 labs in a building, defining the hardware devices in the project including their specifications and the estimated cost. Finally, we have to implement and configure by using Packet Tracer.

What did we do in the project?
• We have selected the hardware devices that will cover enough for the project (we used Amazon 🌚).
• I made a report containing the needed hardware devices with a detailed explanation and why we selected them (Router, Switch, RJ45 Sockets, RJ45 Connectors, CAT6 Cables, and Network rack).
• I calculated the estimated cost according to the devices we have selected.
• My teammate explained the step-by-step implementation of the network system using Packet Tracer and configured it.

I found a crunchy chicken restaurant from google maps, I saw it has 5 stars and then I forced myself to try it 🏃.

CPIS334 Project: Software Project Management
︎ The idea of this project is to consider an application or a system and determine anything that will help to manage the selected project and expect acceptable outcomes.

Our project is about: Building a smart home.

What did we do for the project:
• This project was done by a group of 4, so we've discussed and given roles.
• We defined our topic and explained the purposes, goals, and objectives.
• We made a web breakdown structure (WBS) to determine the requirements and processes as tasks for every milestone in the project.
• We made an organizational chart and staffing procedures and plan for HR management.
• We used MS Project app, and we did the points below.
• We did a resource sheet and distributed the resources to appropriate tasks that were already defined in the WBS.
• We set the predecessors and the cost according to the resources for each task.
• We used a precedence diagram method for time management and determining the critical path.
• We showed the project details that we performed by using MS Project and took screenshots to put them in the report.
• We made presentation slides for our project.

Alhumdulillah for my safety 🩵🤕

Today I took off wisdom teeth in the left side and I hope they work on the right side as soon as possible 🙏.

CPIT250 Project: System Analysis & Design
︎ The idea of this project is to design and analyse a specific system, its processes, and how the client interacts with it. It includes system behaviour and structure. Note that this project is the most effort we put into this semester, we work on it in parts kind of every week and document it until we reach the final report.

Our topic is about: Vehicle parking system

What did we do for the project:
• We defined the problem and how our system will solve it by providing suggested solutions.
• We give an overview of the system.
• We conducted an interview, and the purpose of this was to understand the client's needs or how the system should be implemented. We provided questions and noted the detailed answers.
• Before making the diagrams for the project, we collaborate to make prototypes of these diagrams to get acceptable results.
• We made data flow diagrams (DFD) from the context to level-2, including their descriptions of all levels.
• We made a use case diagram, defined the main diagram and the full diagram (with include & extend operations), and included descriptions such as the actors and the relationships between use cases.
• We made an activity diagram by defining swimlanes (that include actor activities), including a description of the process in this diagram.
• We made a class diagram, which is useful for programming, we defined classes, methods, attributes, and the relationships between classes (associations, aggregation, composition, and generalisation).
• We made sequence diagrams so that every diagram describes a scenario, including their descriptions.
• We made a state machine diagram that kind of looks like an activity diagram, but this diagram describes the states and events of these activities, including a description of the possible states and possible events in the diagram.
• We made a user interface for the entire system and showed how the user interacts with it. Here is a tutorial on how the system is used if you are interested: https://youtu.be/mah4hybkIj4?si=JpKEWOHGBgZuenbP
• We explained our future work and the expectations of our system, and then we concluded the report.
