🤝 На Всемирном фестивале молодежи был день многонационального единства, и нам выпала честь познакомиться с культурой Непала.
Непальский национальный костюм – это живое отражение истории и традиций страны. Мужчины традиционно носят «Даура Сурувал» – элегантный наряд с восьмиугольными пуговицами, символизирующими удачу и гармонию. А головной убор Дхакка-топи является неотъемлемым элементом национальной гордости и даже признан государственным символом Непала.
Женщины облачаются в Гунью Чоло – изящное сочетание длинной юбки, блузы и платка, украшенное традиционной вышивкой. Этот костюм принято дарить девочкам в день совершеннолетия, подчеркивая важность традиций в их жизни.
На фестивале, знакомясь с молодёжью Непала, мы не только восхищались их национальными нарядами, но и делились своими традициями

🤝 At the World Youth Festival, there was a day dedicated to multinational unity, and we had the honor of getting to know the culture of Nepal.
The Nepalese national costume is a living reflection of the country’s history and traditions. Men traditionally wear Daura Suruwal—an elegant outfit with octagonal buttons symbolizing luck and harmony. The Dhaka Topi headdress is an integral element of national pride and is even recognized as a state symbol of Nepal.
Women wear Gunyu Cholo—a graceful combination of a long skirt, blouse, and shawl, adorned with traditional embroidery. This outfit is traditionally given to girls on their coming-of-age day, emphasizing the importance of traditions in their lives.
At the festival, as we got to know Nepalese youth, we not only admired their national attire but also shared our own traditions
