## 1. Disable Ads in System Apps
HyperOS includes some Xiaomi apps that display ads. Here’s how to turn them off:
#### General Settings

3. Go back and select Customized recommendations > Turn off.
#### Xiaomi-Specific Apps
- Security App (Cleaner, Antivirus)

- Open the app > Profile > Settings > Ads > Disable.

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps.
2. Search for "MSA" (Miui System Ads) or "Analytics".
3. Tap Uninstall or Disable (if available).
4. Repeat for other suspicious apps like "Miui Daemon" or "GetApps" (Xiaomi’s alternative store).
> Note: Some system apps can’t be uninstalled, but you can revoke permissions and disable notifications.

### 3. Use a Private DNS to Block Ads
1. Open Settings > Connections & network > Private DNS.
2. Enter that DNS addresses:

- p2.freedns.controld.com

This method blocks many ads at the network level.
