Visual DNA Art Exhibition

Deep within the heart of Yangon, at the intersection of 45th and Merchant Streets, a unique fusion of history and metal was brought to life. From February 14th to the 18th, 2026, 'The Gallery by AYA SOMPO' hosted a remarkable five-day event: the tenth solo exhibition by renowned artist Kyi Win. The showcase, aptly titled 'VISUAL DNA,' features a stunning reimagining of Myanmar’s ancient heritage. Here, the historic murals and sacred Jataka tales that once adorned temple alls have been meticulously etched and transformed onto shimmering plates of golden metal.

Flames of Renewal at Nikola-Lenivets

A 25-metre-high wooden structure was set on fire at Nikola-Lenivets Art Park during Maslenitsa celebrations in Russia’s Kaluga region. Portraits of Memory and Tradition in Đường Lâm

In Đường Lâm Ancient Village, Viet Nam, senior citizens stood as living symbols of the village’s cultural heritage, carrying the wisdom and memories of generations. Each Lunar New Year, young artists returned with hand-drawn portraits to honour the elders and celebrate their lives. For the third year, twin painters Trần Đức Quyền and Trần Đức Quý visited the village at the start of spring to capture the faces and spirits of older villagers. The portraits were drawn in homes, by village wells, and in communal courtyards, spaces filled with tradition and history.
