Squid Game's Giant Doll Glides Across Bangkok's Chao Phraya River

A 12-meter-tall statue of Young-Hee, the iconic doll from Netflix's Squid Game, glided along Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River ahead of the show’s second season release.
The towering sculpture, dressed in an orange skirt, yellow shirt and high-knee socks, was accompanied by a boat filled with "workers" in red bodysuits.
The statue will be displayed in at ICONSIAM's pier from December 23 to January 2, 2025. Squid Game, which explored themes of economic struggle and class disparity,
became Netflix’s most-watched series, reaching 94 countries globally.

For more than two decades, Czech bellmaker Petr Rudolf Manousek’s traveling carillon has journeyed across Europe, bringing its rich,
resonant tones to Christmas markets and other venues. Crafted by Manousek in 2001, the carillon has since graced over 620 concerts.
Mounted on a truck, the instrument operates entirely mechanically, without the aid of electronic components. The player, much like a pianist,
controls the dynamics through the keyboard, much like a piano, where each key produces a different tone depending on how it is struck.
