Bo Cho Island, a popular destination, which has a village named ‘Ma KyoneGalet’ on it. Located over 50 nautical miles away from Kawthaung, the island is a home to the Moken and Myanmar. Su Nge Bar Laing Village Tract comprises 15 villages including Ma KyoneGalet, Nyaung Wee and Jalan where Moken people are in the majority. Khmer bronze treasures to shine at Paris exhibition
The Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts in Paris is set to unveil a major exhibition titled ‘Angkor Royal Bronzes: Art of the Divine’, showcasing the magnificence of Cambodia’s bronze heritage. The Vishnu of the Western Mebon, one of the largest bronze statues discovered at the Angkor archaeological site in Cambodia in 1936, is now on display at the Musée Guimet in Paris, following over a year of restoration at the Arc'Antique laboratory in Nantes.

The Exhibition of Calligraphy on Silk in Ulaanbaatar

T. Narmandakh, a Mongolian calligraphy artist and cultural heritage bearer, is holding her first solo exhibition called “Ink dew-2025” at the Ulaanbaatar Public Library. Featuring around 30 works created on silk, crepe paper, and papyrus, the exhibit showcases her unique skill in writing on delicate materials. She said silk is the most challenging medium, requiring deep patience and precision. She is also known for her calligraphy on traditional Mongolian ger components such as tsavgan (the inner layers of felt or cloth beneath the roof covering).
