Guniw Tools (Gunyu Tsu- ru)/ Tomo Furukawa fun facts
• All the names he's used: FULL, Tomo Furukawa, FuruFuru, Shilfee, Keyro. And Japanese Wikipedia says his real name is Satoshi Furukawa
• Guniw is a coined onomatopoeia, the implied meaning is the name of an amorphous tool.
SHILFEE is his name's kanji characters broken down into their phonetic components and strung together.
• In 1986, before Guniw Tools, Tomo designed an arcade game Darwin 4078 (graphics, sound)
• I found out how old he is only recently and by accident!! Under this video of the soundtrack from the game I mentioned he writes that he made it around 1984 when he was 19. So his birth year is probably 1965. 17.01.1965. (don't take this as 100% true infotho) This makes him the oldest, because Asaki is 54, and Jake is almost 55. I knew it!!
• He took inspiration from the band Japan, and in the early years, Guniw Tools covered their songs as well as those of David Bowie, Echo & The Bunnymen, etc. There is a demo tape featuring these covers.

He gatekeeps it as much as he can and even asked to avoid posting pictures of it on social media to promote it (one part of it is a recreation of Japan's Tin Drum album cover). The café has 7 or 8 places and works only on weekend' evenings with reservation required. It is mostly for regular customers nowadays.
• He dislikes wide popularity and wrote that the proper live spectacle is when it is possible to transform the atmosphere of the entire space with the vibe they create themselves. (Guniw held some lives with a dress code of white and red clothes btw)
• When planning to shoot Babys one do MV, Tomo had in mind snowy mountains in the background, and they went to shoot in the Himalayas. That's when he became hooked on Nepal.
