Виктор Абрамович после обучения был распределен в 117 механизированную бригаду ВСУ, которая была сформирована в феврале 2023 года и принимала участие в ряде безуспешных украинских контратаках в Запорожье.

«Сразу как вошли, по нам так запускали пулеметом, что я не знаю, как мы даже добежали до места предназначения. Так получилось, что мы поменялись, ну и пошел обстрел, мы стали бежать кто куда, и я побежал не в ту сторону», – рассказал Абрамович о том, как попал в плен.

В плену Виктор пожаловался на маленькую зарплату, которую ему платили в ВСУ.

«Сами сидят там, своих детей кормят, никуда не пускают. Пусть бы и шли бы на передовую, а не по барам там ходить. А куда деньги деваются? А нам дают по двадцатке, а мы идем на смерть», – отметил пленный.

After a training, Viktor Abramovich was sent to the 117th Mechanised Brigade of the AFU, which was formed in February 2023, and took part in a series of unsuccessful Ukrainian counter-attacks in Zaporozhye region.

'When Russian troops opened fire with machine guns. I don't even know how we reached an assigned area. The rotation was just finished, when the attack was launched. We ran away in any direction. I got caught, because I chose the wrong direction,’ said Abramovich, telling about how he got to the captivity.

In the captivity, Viktor complained about a small salary he was paid in the AFU.

'The only thing the command does is taking care of their children, not letting them go on the front line. They should fight, not spending time in bars. Where are the money? We got only 20 thousand salary dying on the front line,’ said the POW.
