Hello everyone! I wish you a Happy New Year 2️⃣ 0️⃣ 2️⃣ 4️⃣ !
We should not expect a new version with a lot of changes in the near future, but there are already some ideas that can be realized in the next release.
1. I have long wanted to reduce the number of different options of the system, because they are very difficult to navigate, and newcomers are difficult to make a choice.
2. Most likely, the names of some distributions will be changed to make it clearer what they are.
3. I have a great desire to leave only one boot loader for both BIOS and EFI - GRUB. This will simplify the configuration of kernel parameters, as it will be enough to configure only one configuration file, not two, as it is now. There are already some developments, but everything needs to be thoroughly tested.
4. If there will be only one boot loader, the installer may be missing from the system, as it is designed to use extlinux utility from syslinux.
5. There will be one more way to build MiniOS from source code, which can simplify building for beginners.
It may be a long time before a version with major changes is released, so it is likely that version 3.3.3 will only include package updates and some minor changes requested by users (I hope I haven't forgotten all the constructive suggestions).

Judging by these statistics, it would be nice to add Italian and German languages to MiniOS. I think this will be the next step in the development of the system.
