🇷🇺10 июня состоится релиз Debian 12. Мы держим руку на пульсе и заранее готовились к будущему релизу. К сожалению, количество образов слишком велико, потому не все версии MiniOS будут сразу собраны на основе Bookworm. В преддверии релиза новой версии Debian прошу вас принять участие в тестировании образов на базе Debian 12, это значительно повысит шансы на скорый выпуск новой версии MiniOS.
В образе, который будет загружен ниже, изменён ряд внутренних функций, а так же представлена значительно переписанная (на 90%) утилита apt2sb, которой пользовались многие из вас. Теперь она поддерживает передачу в качестве опций имени файла и уровня фильтра, а так же поддерживает автодополнение имён пакетов при наличии обновлённой базы.
🇬🇧On June 10th, Debian 12 is set to be released. We have been closely monitoring the situation and have made advanced preparations for the upcoming release. Unfortunately, due to the large number of images, not all versions of MiniOS will be immediately built on Bookworm. In anticipation of the release of the new Debian version, I invite you to participate in testing the images based on Debian 12, as this will significantly increase the chances of speeding up the release of the new MiniOS version.
The image that will be downloaded below includes a number of internal function changes, as well as a significantly rewritten (90%) version of the apt2sb utility that many of you have used. Now it supports passing the filename and filter level as options, as well as supports auto completion of package names with an updated database.

🇷🇺В новом образе для тестирования переработаны многие старые утилиты, для них добавлено автодополнение. Переработаны утилиты minios-bundle (служит для горячего подключения и отключения модулей) и minios-geniso (служит для сборки образа с включением в него добавленных модулей). Так же добавлена утилита scr2sb для создания модулей на основе скрипта. Для утилит apt2sb и scr2sb добавлена более подробная справка в man.
🇬🇧In the new image for testing, many old utilities have been redesigned, auto-completion has been added for them. The minios-bundle utilities (used to hot-plug and unplug modules) and minios-geniso (used to build an image with added modules included) have been redesigned. The scr2sb utility has also been added to create modules based on a script. Added more detailed help to man for apt2sb and scr2sb utilities.

🇷🇺 Хорошо, мы оставим поддержку AUFS в текущем релизе "из коробки". Была идея сделать iso всех версий MiniOS, кроме Puzzle, с поддержкой SecureBoot с возможностью замены ядра на ядро с поддержкой AUFS. Думаю, в будущем мы это решим добавлением утилиты, которая позволит установить ядро с AUFS на флешку, тогда как стандартным ядром в iso будет поддерживаться только OverlayFS.
🇬🇧 Ok, we will leave AUFS support in the current release "out of the box". There was an idea to make iso of all MiniOS versions, except Puzzle, with SecureBoot support with the possibility to replace the kernel with AUFS-enabled kernel. I think in the future we will solve this by adding a utility that will allow to install the kernel with AUFS on a flash drive, while the standard kernel in the iso will only support OverlayFS.

- в версии Maximum и Ultra добавлен сервер xrdp, по умолчанию он включен

- the base for most MiniOS variants is now Debian 12

- added graphical utility for installing the system on a flash drive/hard disk
- xrdp server added to Maximum and Ultra versions, it is enabled by default

Тип системы может принимать два значения: classic и puzzle. По умолчанию, SYSTEM_TYPE=classic во всех вариантах MiniOS, кроме Puzzle. Тем не менее, этот параметр можно переключить везде, кроме Puzzle (на самом деле, в Puzzle можно переключить тип системы на classic, только этим вы сломаете систему). 🇬🇧Let's start with the most important thing you need to know about MiniOS.
In 3.2 it is now possible to choose the system type, the system type is specified in minios.conf by the SYSTEM_TYPE variable, or it is specified in the kernel parameters by the system_type variable (in syslinux and grub configuration files, or just before booting the system). The system type can take two values: classic and puzzle. By default, SYSTEM_TYPE=classic in all MiniOS variants except Puzzle. However, this parameter can be switched everywhere except Puzzle (in fact, you can switch the system type to classic in Puzzle, but you will break the system by doing so).
