More than 20 million BTC have now been mined. This means over 95% of the total 21 million supply is already in circulation.
It took nearly 17 years to mine the 20 million. The final million, however, will take more than 100 years to be released as block rewards continue to halve.
Less than 5% of Bitcoin remains to be mined. Yet, over time, this remaining portion may become more valuable than everything mined so far.

The current period represents the early stage of Bitcoin’s final and most valuable issuance phase. ⚡
