No one truly believes in God or eternity anymore—though they mention it at every corner. Everyone now knows life is too short, and the goal is to make this brief stretch of time as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Not a single parent prays for love for their child. They ask only for health, prosperity, and that convenient, suitable person to walk beside them.

So when love suddenly arrives, unexpected and intense, people don’t know how to handle it. They push it away, dismissing the heart’s strange flutter as a surge of hormones, mere chemistry, convincing themselves it’ll pass. And usually, it does.

What not to do if your partner has a quick temper

A brief list of guidelines:

1. Don’t get nervous or irritated.

When your partner is in a bad mood, it’s best to stay calm and composed—even if you disagree with what they’re saying or thinking. Anger won’t help anyone.

2. Don’t show vulnerability.

Giving in to emotional weakness doesn’t help the “aggressor” overcome their anger or move toward constructive dialogue. “Showing weakness only fuels the partner’s frustration further,” an expert notes.

3. Don’t demand an immediate response.

During a relationship crisis, one of the worst things you can do is insist on resolving things right away. Decisions and actions should only be taken with a clear head.

4. Don’t silence them.
