If youβd like to follow your passion but havenβt yet fostered one,
You must begin at the beginning: DISCOVERY.
Ask yourself these:
- What do I like to think about?
- Where does my mind wander?
- What do I really care about?
- What matters most to me?
- How do I enjoy spending my time? And, in contrast, what do I find absolutely unbearable?

Atlas has this thing he says that you should always remember:
Husbands reveal their true nature when the wife is sick.
Wives reveal their true nature when the husband is poor.
Friends reveal their true nature when you lend them.
Brothers reveal their true nature when the matter of inheritance is discussed.
I highlighted the middle part because that is what I want to talk about...
Forget about your personal experiences, people are vile. It'll shock you over what amount a person would throw away the friendship you 'think' you have.
Not saying that they are not your friends, but most people cannot overcome their nature.
I've had friends who have borrowed from me and repaid, I've had those that disappeared immediately they got their hands on the money.
People are funny, but it is more sad than laughable.
Do not be surprised if your friend of 10 years suddenly becomes unreachable because of a few thousand $$, hell less than a thousand dollars.
The reason to avoid borrowing friends money is to keep the relationship, not because you'll lose the money. Some people are unreliable, and will fuck the two of you over.
If you love your friend, learn to say 'no.'

Your emotional energy is your greatest power.
Here's how you harness it to 10x the quality of your work:
=γThe purest, most potent form of creative energy you have access to is emotional.
You like to think you're a thought-based being first, but you're not.
Youβre a feeling being first.
And it is through feeling, through emotion, that you take all action and make all decisions.
=γThought tempers, refines, and directs action, but emotion ignites it.
Thought is the forge, but emotion is the fire.
And learning to channel that fire will 10x your creative ability.
The quality of your work (and results) will be amplified, multiplied, and expanded.
=γThe 3 biggest problems you'll face when it comes to effectively using your emotional energy are:
1. Reactive instead of responsive
2. No awareness of how to creatively direct it
3. Inability to activate desired emotional states at will
Overcoming these = MASSIVE edge in life.
=γAsking yourself this question is the EASIEST way to start mastering your emotional energy:
βWhen I experience a strong emotional charge, be it negative or positive, how do I channel it?β
Learning to respond to your emotions starts by understanding how you react to them.
=γThe goal is to channel your emotions CREATIVELY.
Think of the incredible works born from emotion:
β’ A hit ballad born of sadness
β’ A master painting born of wonder
β’ A 7-figure biz born of courageous purpose
Emotional energy + mental direction + action = SUPERB RESULTS.
=γThe next time you experience a strong emotional charge, ask yourself:
βHow can I use this energy to create something of value for myself and/or for others?β
Even starting with something simple, like transferring anger into a great workout, is a big step in the right direction.
