To be a great leader means that you not only have to put in 100% effort to better yourself,
It also means that you need to put that effort into improving those around you as well.

You will experience the same thing that triggers you until you cease to begin reacting to the stimulus.
Someone cuts you off in traffic? There are two responses.
One version of yourself will rage at the other car, getting worked up, feeling offended and hard done by, lowering your energy, increasing harmful compounds in your body and embodying an emotion that doesnβt help you at all; while they never even know you exist.
The other version of you smiles, wishes that they get to wherever they need to be because theyβre obviously in a hurry, or recognises that they probably didnβt see you at all and didnβt do it on purpose.
The second, higher version of yourself is more at peace with things, and so you have learned and internalised at some level not to let external circumstances affect your internal state.
You have never accidentally cut someone off in traffic? We all have.
You will continue stubbing your toe until you are mindful about where you are moving your body even while thinking about other things.
You will continue having your relationships blow up and have stress until you can be totally honest and present with them.
You will continue to injure yourself in the gym until you listen to your body and recognise when you need to back off and take it easy.
If you never admit wrong doing, you can never change a pattern. The ego will never want to admit they are wrong. If youβre never wrong, whatβs there to change? Nothing. Therefore, nothing will change, and you will continue getting the unsatisfactory results you have now.
Unless you own up to it.
And then unlearning the beliefs that are keeping you in the dark.
Saying the phrase βit doesnβt happen overnightβ when talking about mental shifts is harmful to the receiver of that βknowledgeβ because it takes away from their belief in their ability to make quick positive changes.
It IS possible to make a shift today to let go of the mental issues that are giving you poor results.
It IS possible to step into a new reality at any point, despite your previous experiences.

Stop watching sitcoms. You don't need 5 friends to talk to every day. Most of my close friends I talk to 1-2x/month. The only people I talk to every day are family and business partners. Sitcoms got you thinking that chatting in bars every day about "life" isn't loser shit.

The only way to do that is by moving closer to the things that you like.

As a Man, you cannot be TOO MUCH OF ONE THING.
You cannot be the βcrypto dudeβ or the βparty dudeβ.
Sure, outwardly you can create that reputation- it helps you network.
But internally? In your day to day life?
You must be involved into other things as well.
If youβre constantly partying, youβre gonna be a broke and messed up motherfucker at 30.
If youβre constantly in the trenches, studying all day and night?
You will become a overly logical, boring dude with no stories to share.
You must KNOW THE RIGHT TIME TO PARTY AND THE RIGHT TIME TO STAY LOW.
There should be phases of your life.
When youβre young, you canβt βbalanceβ things everyday.
There should be days when youβre full partying, and days when youβre nowhere to be seen.
Extreme mode, focused, phased.
TRAIN EVERYTHING.
