The discomfort of doing the work is nothing compared to living with regret.
Seeing the ኮሪደር ልማት and all the construction, you might ask, “Why are they doing all this? Wasn’t the road already good?”
But then you realize that all this temporary discomfort is necessary to make the road better, safer, and more useful.
Sometimes, our own lives are the same.
We have to put ourselves through certain discomforts, challenges, and changes—not because where we are is necessarily bad, but because we are being rebuilt into something better.
Growth is often uncomfortable, but the discomfort can be part of the construction.
But then you realize that all this temporary discomfort is necessary to make the road better, safer, and more useful.
Sometimes, our own lives are the same.
We have to put ourselves through certain discomforts, challenges, and changes—not because where we are is necessarily bad, but because we are being rebuilt into something better.

ጳጉሜ (Pagume) በኢትዮጵያ ዘመን አቆጣጠር (calendar) የዓመቱ 13ኛዋ እና የመጨረሻዋ ወር ነች።
ስለ ጳጉሜ ማወቅ የሚገቡዎት ዋና ዋና ነጥቦች፡-
የቀናት ብዛት፦ ወሯ በዓመት አራት ጊዜ (ለሶስት ተከታታይ ዓመታት) 5 ቀናት ስትሆን፣ በዘመነ ሉቃስ ደግሞ 6 ቀናት ትሆናለች።
ስያሜ፦ "ጳጉሜ" የሚለው ቃል "ኤፓጉሜኔ" (Epagomenē) ከሚለው የግሪክ ቃል የመጣ ሲሆን ትርጉሙም "ተጨማሪ ቀናት" ማለት ነው።የወቅቱ ሁኔታ፦ ይህች ወር የክረምት ማብቂያ እና የዐዲስ ዓመት (መስከረም 1) መሸጋገሪያ ድልድይ ነች።
በባህልና በሃይማኖት ሥርዓቶች (ለምሳሌ የጳጉሜ የጥምቀት ጸበል) በልዩ ሁኔታ ይታሰባል።

Let’s Make Their New Year Brighter
Every September, I raise funds to support children who struggle to afford basic educational needs. This year, we’re taking it further by supporting Zewditu Orphanage Center, which I had the chance to visit a few months ago.
They’re well cared for, but holidays are still difficult. especially when it comes to making the kids feel happy and celebrated.
So, throughout Pagume, let’s give what we can. 80 birr can feed one child for a day. But even 10 birr matters.
Let’s put a smile on a child’s face this New Year. Let humanity be our New Year’s gift.

አንዳንድ የአማርኛ ቃላት ሲጠብቁ እና ሲላሉ ሁለት የተለያየ ትርጉም አላቸው።
ለምሳሌ፦
ገና ሲጠብቅ የበዓል ስም ነው፣ ሲላላ ደግሞ "እስካሁን" ማለት ነው።
ዋና ሲጠብቅ "ዋና ሰው" ማለት ነው፣ ሲላላ ደግሞ "መዋኘት" ማለት ነው።
ይህ ልዩነት በአጻጻፍ ስለማይታይ፣ ኮምፒውተር አማርኛን በትክክል እንዳያነብ ያደርገዋል።
