SMO hero Alias Avidzba, who goes by the call sign Highlander, congratulated the RT.Doc team on its 15th anniversary. He serves as the deputy commander of the International ‘Pyatnashka’ Brigade.

We know Highlander very well. He has been the hero of several of our documentaries. Originally from Abkhazia, Alias went to the front as a volunteer. He has been fighting since the very beginning of the special military operation. After suffering a severe injury, he returned right back to the front lines as soon as he had recovered.

Journalist Fiammetta Cucurnia, the widow of the Italian journalist and politician Giulietto Chiesa, congratulated the RT.Doc television channel on its anniversary. 5000 years ago, this tribal people bred the Akhal-Teke. It is considered to be the most beautiful breed in the world. Locals believe the blood of wild horses runs in their veins, and call them ‘heavenly creatures’.

In Turkmenistan, everyone is linked with the Akhal-Teke. 'We Turkmens can’t live without horses,’ explained Aybike Babalyeva. These are not just words for her: her family is famous in the country for their contributions to horse breeding.
