At one point we found ourselves on a hill, miles from the nearest likelihood of another human, surrounded by nothing but swaying grass and the big sky with birds and bison our only companions. Easy to imagine how our settler ancestors fell in love with this land! Our blood, our soil!

Soldiers are saying the water has been yellow/brown for about a year, and some days it’s “beef broth brown.” They were told it was that color due to minerals from DPW. 😐
