Oggi è un giorno triste per la vaporwave: il video originale di リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー è stato rimosso da Youtube, mentre il pezzo è stato tolto da Bandcamp per violazione del copyright.
Essendo la vaporwave classica, all'atto pratico, poco più di un genere fatto dal campionamento di poche battute di musica anni '80 rallentata, forse era destino.
Tuttavia Lisa Frank 420 è stato uno dei pezzi più emblematici del genere. Una sorta di manifesto post punk a cui noi stessi ci siamo rivolti per imparare qualcosa di nuovo: nel punk gli strumenti li hai ma non li sai suonare; nella vapor non devi né possederli, né tantomeno suonarli. Questa musica l'avrebbe potuta fare un'intelligenza artificiale, ma invece l'ha fatta una persona, tale Macintosh Plus (anche nota come Vektroid), forse per scherzo, ma sicuramente finendo per tracciare un solco nella storia della musica e della cultura pop degli anni Duemila.

E dunque addio リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー, ci rivediamo nei libri di storia!

Today is a sad day for vaporwave: the original video of リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー was removed from Youtube, while the track was removed from Bandcamp for copyright infringement.
As classical vaporwave is practically a little more than a genre entirely composed of a few slowed down bars from 80's music, maybe it was its natural destiny.
However, Lisa Frank 420 has been one of the most emblematic examples of the genre. A sort of post-punk manifesto that we ourselves embraced in order to learn something new: in punk you have the musical instruments but you don't know how to play them; in vaporwave you don't even need to have instruments, let alone play them. This is music that could have been made by an artificial intelligence, but it wasn't. A person known as Macintosh Plus (also known as Vektroid) made it. Maybe it was a joke at the beginning, but it definitely ended up leaving a mark on the history of music and pop culture of the 2000s.

Thus, so long, リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュー, see you again in the history books!
