Job Description:

Samaritan’s Purse is looking for energetic and motivated Driver to provide transportation as needed for both on site and off site events.   Driver are responsible for the operation of Samaritan’s Purse’s  staff to include ensuring proper maintenance of vehicles in compliance with safe driving standards ensuring the vehicle is fulled on time for trips.  Transportation rules and regulations.Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Drive project and project affiliated personnel to project sites within the base location, and throughout the project implementation area for project activities, including official site visits.

Ensure the readiness of the vehicle for transport service by checking oil, water, fuel, tires and vehicle equipment, and conducting the daily safety and security inspection prior to driving.

While driving a vehicle of SPE, observe all company vehicle utilization policies and in country traffic laws, particularly speed limits.

Maintain up-to-date record keeping systems for vehicle issues including fuel, mileage, and trip logs.

Daily cleaning of the vehicle, exterior and interior.

To be flexible and execute any other tasks or duties as may be assigned by the Operations Coordinator and General Coordinator

Maintain a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.

Perform daily safety inspections as required; fill gas tank when needed.

Visually inspect interior of shuttle at the end of each shift and remove any debris left behind by passengers.

Perform all work in a safe manner; follow all associated safety guidelines.

#Job_Position: Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
•       SCI’s global as well as SC-Ethiopia’s national supply chain related policies and procedures. The post holder will also be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of an effective procurement, fleet, construction, warehousing and asset management practices in the field office.
•       Implement Supply Chain strategy developed by the Country Office concerning the field Office Operations;
•       Plan and implement an effective purchase order management and tracking system at the field office level for local and national orders and organize schedules for Framework, bulk and any other economical strategic purchases.
•       Directly involved in the operational planning mainly the supply Chain aspect of the projects which includes budgeting, procurement and project implementation planning, etc
•       Make certain that all supply Chain requirements are delivered in accordance with timescales set and agreed with programme managers.
 
Coordination:
•       Directly plan, lead and monitor the activities of procurement, warehouse and fleet management units.
•       Ensure SCI supply chain ERP systems implemented as per the standard.
Oversee the implementation and monitoring of procurement processes and ensure conformity to procedures and timely delivery of goods and services.
•       Ensures up-to-date procurement tracker in place and consistently communicated to the respective budget holders (requesters)
•       Work with Country Supply Chain Team; Supply Chain Functional managers (Procurement, warehouse, Fleet and Construction managers) as well as with the Country office Supply Chain specialist for maintaining efficient and effective programme delivery;
•       Conducting periodic market assessments in defined procurement locations, including gathering information from the market and peer agencies
•       Overseeing all tender processes for SCI Hawassa Field Office
•       Working with stakeholders to define specifications and decision-making criteria for all tenders.
•       Understanding various aspects (including the legal aspects) of organisational Terms & Conditions, and being able to negotiate these with suppliers.
•       Regularly review programmes logistical requirements and ensure that programme works are carried out in the most efficient and cost effective manner;
•       Provide support and work closely with the program/ project heads in developing procurement plan;
•       Prepare and submit scheduled monthly field office logistics (Procurement, Fleet, asset & warehouse) reports to the country office;

•       Ensure financial benefit gained from procurement are captured and reported on time.

Job Description:

I. TechnoServe Background:

II. Program Description:
 The program will help farmers boost productivity and expand trade. Specifically, the Regrow Yirga program seeks to serve 42,000+ farmers, 45+ processing businesses, and coffee industry service providers. The project will launch an innovative Farmer Stumping Fund which will facilitate direct incentive (tools or cash) transfers to farmers to encourage tree rejuvination which has the potential to be scaled up to over 1 million coffee farmers nation-wide. 
This USD 15 million project finds its roots in TechnoServe’s 10+ years of experience working with the coffee farmers in Ethiopia. Our work was recently honored as the “Origin Charity of the Year” by the National Coffee Association – the leading trade organization for the coffee industry in the United States.
 III. Position Description:
 The Data Encoders will be responsible for entering data related to the monitoring and evaluation of the Regrow Yirga program in Ethiopia. 
 IV. Duties and Responsibilities
·         Enter all data related to agronomy training, surveys or others as indicated by the MEL Manager
·         Follow up on the first three months’ farmers’ attendance sheet, collect and arrange photocopies at the field, file them in an orderly manner and bring or send the copies to Addis office.
·         Complete Data Entry back check for all data entered
·         Filing and organizing the hard copies of all the data gathered
·         Creating a data inventory of entered data
·         Reporting on progress of data entry and expected completion times.
·         Assure the accuracy of all data entered
·         Printing attendance or other M&E materials and stapling.
·         Updating Attendance tracker forms and printing
·         Support in translation or review translated M&E materials in local languages
·         Organizing transportation for sending documents or arranging other means like DHL and delivering to the postal office. 
·         Facilitate/deliver data collection tools, Agronomy attendance sheets or other materials as requested by the MEL Manager
·         Any other duties assigned by the MEL Manager

·         Diploma in IT, Computer Science and or other fields with a minimum of 1-year experience in performing data entry.
·         Familiarity with Excel and Word software.
