Position 1 – Protection Officer

Qualification – Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or another related field with minimum of 2+ years’ direct experience on PSS and GBV related case managements in NGO environment

Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English proficiency with the local language is a plus

 Full proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work effectively with others within a multicultural team context.

JOB SUMMARY

Develop Community-based outreach programs to promote awareness of appropriate coping strategies in response to psychosocial issues identified Provide coaching and mentoring to social workers and community volunteers

Ensure safety of training areas to provide community-based PSS and identify and train community focal points and Community Based Group (CBG) members to deliver GBV PSS

Assist the community volunteers (CVs) in the identification of beneficiaries in need of counseling and ensure individual or group support for identified beneficiaries

Safely identify and refer members of the community who require additional assistance and services to social workers with defined referral pathways and Standard Operating Procedures, with a particular focus on high risk cases
Reporting:

Participate in the preparation activity reporting and lesson learning Psycho-social related activities

Ensure the proper and secure documentation of data collected (hard and soft copies) during CB PSSCollect monthly data and prepare narrative reports to provide project updates and submit to Protection specialist

Position 2 – Psychologist

Qualification – BA in psychology (clinical psychology, counseling psychology preferable) and above with at least 3 years work experience in GBV programming, and counseling/provision of psychosocial support in an NGO setting

Knowledgeable in and previous experience of implementing the IASC MHPSS guidelines and best practices

Previous experience of implementing individual and community-based counselling/ psychosocial support

Previous experience of working in conflict and fragile settings
Training experience required in capacity building and proven track record of training national and partner staff

Strong organizational and supervisory skills

Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Fluency in English is required and fluency in local language is plus

Position 3 – Social Worker

Qualification – University degree in Social Work or related fields (BA or Masters) with minimum 2 years work experience (experience working with GBV survivors, previous experience working in MHPSS) in NGO setting
Fluency in English is required and knowledge of the local language is a plus

Safe identification, documentation and referral for beneficiaries to GBV case managers.

Identify opportunities for awareness raising, whether at a community center or other safe space. Plan the sessions to include children or children and caregivers

Prepare and submit reports in timely manner to the protection officer
Attend all relevant trainings that are provided by the organization
 protection officer, protection specialist and project coordination

Position 4 – Wash Officer

Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Public Health/Environmental Health/Water Engineering with 2 years of relevant work experience
Diploma Holders in Public Health/Community Health

Development/Environmental Health/Water Engineering with 4 years of work experience in a humanitarian context will also be considered for the position

Ability to work in multicultural setting and with minimum supervision is desirable

Skill in community mobilization and sensitization and in utilization of data analysis and management software

Good report writing and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft office Written and oral proficiency in English, proficiency in the local language is a plus

JOB SUMMARY

Work with responsible stakeholders and committee target beneficiaries (IDPs) to identify hygiene promoters for hygiene and sanitation promotion according given criteria

Facilitating Training for Hygiene promoters on basics of hygiene and sanitation promotion/education, hygiene promotion/education
In coordination with the WASH specialist, undertake/take part in quantitative/qualitative assessments to identify key risky hygiene behaviors to work on and to capture key achievements with-in the framework of project,

Ensure implementation of hygiene promotion activities as per planned approaches/methods through use of hygiene promoters

Work with WASH specialist on properly distribution and positioning of culturally appropriate IEC materials, and monitoring tools and ensure proper use of the same

Undertake Verification of properly beneficiaries by cooperating with Hygiene promoter, IDP’s committees and government stake holders for NFI (Body soap, laundry and water treatment Chemical at house hold)

Facilitate and work with responsible stakeholders and Community volunteers as they work on site selection and pit excavations and facilitate maintenance of the area

Prepare detail implementation plan for WASH activities for assigned site in coordination with WASH Specialist

Document and share lessons learned and success stories in relation to hygiene to inform future programming

Attend Task force and coordination meeting at assigned site as instructed by WASH specialist

Prepare and Provide weekly and monthly reports covering all project activities for the WASH specialist

Reporting:

Drafting and submitting update reports on various WASH activities as required by the WASH specialist and Project Coordinator
