#ኮካኮላ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ በኢትዮጵያ ዋና ከተማ አዲስ አበባ በ1959 በኢትዮጵያ ቦትሊንግ አክሲዮን ማህበር ታሽጎ የነበረ ሲሆን በኋላም በድሬዳዋ ሁለተኛ ቅርንጫፍ በ1965 ከፍቷል። ሁለቱ ፋብሪካዎች በ1975 ወደ አገር ገብተው እስከ 1996 ድረስ በህዝብ ኩባንያነት አገልግለዋል። በግል ባለሀብቶች የተገዛ. ከዚያ በፊት በ 1995 ኮኮ ኮላ ደቡብ አፍሪካዊ መጠጥ ኩባንያ (ኮካ ኮላ SABCO) በቢዝነስ ውስጥ አክሲዮኖችን ገዛ እና በ 1999 ከፋብሪካዎች ጋር የጋራ ስምምነት ተፈራርሟል. እ.ኤ.አ. በ 2001 ኮካ ኮላ ሳቢኮ የአክሲዮን ድርሻውን ወደ 61 በመቶ ያሳደገ ሲሆን ኩባንያው ስሙን ወደ ምስራቅ አፍሪካ ቦትሊንግ አክሲዮን ለውጧል። EABSC ሁለቱን ፋብሪካዎች በአዲስ አበባ እና በድሬዳዋ ማከናወኑን ቀጥሏል።
“ከ1,500 በላይ ሰዎችን በአዲስ አበባ እና በድሬዳዋ ቀጥረን 720 ሚሊዮን ጠርሙስ ለስላሳ መጠጦችን በአመት እናመርታለን” ይላል ጃንሰን። "በእድገት፣ ትርፋማነት እና ቅልጥፍና ቀዳሚ አፈጻጸም ካላቸው ሀገራት አንዱ ነን።"
