One gets a person to agree that something might be a certain way and then drives him by introverting him and through self-criticism to the possibility that it is that way. They ring a bell and feed the dog, and they ring a bell and feed the dog, and they ring a bell and feed the dog. Now the dog is conditioned to be fed when the bell rings. Now, they buzz a buzzer and beat the dog, and buzz a buzzer and beat the dog, and they buzz a buzzer and beat the dog, and they buzz a buzzer and beat the dog. Now what they're really doing is adding up a bunch of engrams, they aren't conditioning him at all. And then they gradually reduce the sound of the bell to the sound of the buz- zer, and reduce the sound of the buzzer to the sound of the bell till the dog can't tell the difference between the buzzer and the bell and at that moment he goes psychotic. He can't tell whether he's going to be beaten or fed. That is brainwashing. It is specific technology.
