A Canadian mining company says some of its workers who were abducted from a project site in Mexico last month have been found dead.
Ten employees of the Vancouver-based Vizsla Silver Corp have been missing since 23 January, when they were taken from a mining site near Concordia, Mexico.
Vizsla Silver Corp said it had been informed by family members of some of the kidnapped workers that their relatives were found deceased.

Mexican farmers will teach Indigenous methods at German organic fair.
Mexico will send 19 farmers from the national “Sembrando Vida” (Sowing Life) program to the organic products trade fair BIOFACH 2026, which will run from Feb. 10 to 13 in Nuremberg, Germany.
About half of the delegation will be presenting coffee, cacao and Persian limes, all grown with organic farming processes that support sustainable production.

When the author of this #socialmedia stream arrived here at La Media Luna this pond was a dirty mess littered with plastic bags, bottles and cans, used baby diapers and other trash. There was literallny no life to dedect.
Now, 16 month later the area outside and the pond is teeming with amphibious critters, small snakes and we got, by now, 3 resident herons, a flock of ducks and event a small patch of reed has formed in middle of pond.

Cuando el autor de esta transmisión en redes sociales llegó a La Media Luna, este estanque era un desastre, lleno de bolsas de plástico, botellas y latas, pañales usados ​​y demás basura. Literalmente, no había vida que detectar.

I no understand those people here. They will wade thru almost a half foot deep donkey poop to get their water instead occasional clean up and sweep the manure to the side.
In fact I had 2x the case where somebody defecate right at corner of water tank and leave the waste inclusive bathroom tissue there.... where they get their drinking water.
There is one senor, his name is Ramon from #SanNicolas I want to mention, he comes when he gets water with a rake and cleans up.
My kudos to him!

No entiendo a esa gente de aquí. Se meten en casi medio metro de excremento de burro para beber agua en lugar de limpiar de vez en cuando y barrer el estiércol a un lado.
De hecho, me pasó dos veces que alguien defecó justo en la esquina del tanque de agua y dejó los desechos, incluido el papel higiénico, allí... donde beben agua.
