Matthew 5:13 reminds us, “You are the salt of the earth.”
Faith may feel easy within the four walls of our church building, but it’s what happens beyond them that reveals how real it truly is.
Ann Sze from Faith Methodist Church challenges us to reflect: Are we living evidently for Christ — even when it means doing things differently?

Level results are out… and we’d like to share a 67 that hits a little different today. Philippians 4:6–7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Whatever your results look like, this isn’t the end of your story. God’s plans don’t stop at one results slip.

We live in an age of rapid technological change—where AI is reshaping how we work, communicate, and even how we worship. This March, as we navigate this "digital Babylon", Bishop Philip Lim reminds us, "The danger lies not in using AI, but in confusing efficiency with wisdom, automation with discernment, and innovation with spiritual depth. AI can never be a substitute for prayer—it cannot replace communication and connection with the body of Christ."
As we engage our digital world thoughtfully, may we hold fast to what no machine can replicate. Faith is not about rejecting the tools of our time, but about using them wisely and redemptively—always anchored in the truth that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10)

Instead of living our lives constantly in front of our screens, we will do well to heed the dictum, “more grass, less glass.” Don’t just scroll with our fingers, let our toes caress the grass of the field for a change.
Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at Trinity Theological College, Mark L. Y. Chan, asks us to "rediscover how to live embodied life as God’s image-bearers—before God, in our bodies, on God’s earth and in the community of other people."

When a chatbot's answers feel clearer than prayer — when the comfort of an algorithm begins to replace the mystery of a living God — something sacred is quietly being lost.
And that, is precisely the danger.
Dr Roland Chia reminds us that “AI is but a tool, not a spiritual authority. It cannot replace prayer, theological reflection, pastoral presence or the gathered worship of the Church.”

67% of Christian husbands say they're satisfied in their marriage. Only 54% of their wives say the same. What's really going on?
At the State of the Family 2026 plenary discussions, church leaders and workers were reminded that even “happy” Christian marriages may conceal some quiet dissatisfaction—particularly among wives.

Chatbots like ChatGPT have become indispensable tools for students across Singapore, helping with everything from essay ideation to concept explanations. But their widespread use raises critical questions about academic integrity and over-reliance on technology.

With headlines turning towards the escalating conflict in the Middle East, a collective sense of unrest may settle over us. Whether we know someone in the region or are simply heavy-hearted from images of suffering, displacement and mobilisation, war can stir deep anxiety, sadness and helplessness. It is a complex reality.
Yet for the Christian, the tension may feel even more acute when faith and geopolitics collide. How do we respond when the world draws lines in the sand? How do we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Prince of Peace, in a world of conflict?
In this Q&A interview, Rev Raymond Fong, Pastor-in-Charge at Wesley Methodist Church, offers a pastoral perspective on navigating these uncertain times while remaining firmly grounded in scripture.
