Today's topic: algorithm behaviour in a sideways market 🔴

❓ What is a "sideways market" (flat)? This is when the market is not growing and not falling — prices just move back and forth in a narrow range. The price gets stuck between a ceiling and a floor. No trend, no movement — just noise.

📊 Interesting fact: the market spends about 70% of its time in a sideways state. This means most of the time there is no clear trend. This is the normal state of the market.

❓ So why do the algorithms sometimes lose? Because our strategies are trend-following. They are designed to catch strong moves. In a sideways market when there is no move, they cannot earn — they take small losses on the noise. This is not a mistake. It is how the system works.

❓ Is my money safe? Yes. The maximum drawdown is hardcoded at 5%. The AI cannot exceed this limit no matter what happens in the market.
