The Wing In Ground Effect creates a cushion of higher pressure air below the wings when a plane is flying close to the ground (at a height less than the wingspan).

There is also less air that wraps around the wings to push down on the plane and instead gets trapped between the wings and the ground. This also lowers drag and turbulence, leading to more efficient speed, which can be taken advantage with by a Wing In Ground aircraft.

This also means the alleged 9/11 "hijackers" at the Pentagon would have to somehow overcome the Wing In Ground effect as the alleged plane flew at GROUND level at 530 mph! #Impossible
