The anonymous photo uploaded online in 2012 of the photo shows 3+ "orbs" surrounding the 2nd "plane" as it gets absorbs into the South Tower on 9/11.

In later uploads of the same photo, the orbs APPEAR to have been airbrushed to remove them, but the image quality is higher. The 2012 uploader said he received this as a scanned digital copy and that the original was lost. So it is still unclear where the better quality version was actually the original and the orbs were a biproduct of the scanning, or they were actually airbrushed out. Given that MANY photos and videos show many orbs, it appears the latter is the case.

In this video I illustrate a method for determining of 4 points lie on the same plane by checking if their scalar triple product (or volume of a parallelepiped) is zero. If it is zero then it means the volume of the parallelepiped spanned by the position vectors between the 4 points is zero, aka a flat plane.
