Also, to prevent this, install memlockd and lock X in memory

I'm actually thinking this may not already come with my distro, which probably explains all my issues I've been having with Linux. To put this into perspective learning Unix is a want, preventing my pc form locking up while I'm doing lowkey work is a need.

@hyper SInce I'm googling about whether lock x is obtainable by apt-get but did manage to find memlockd could you send me how you got it?
By default there's no xorg-server in the memlockd config, I had to add it manually
