There is a perfect system. It's called "all decisions by staff are final". If you don't like the moderation, feel free to make your own group/server. There's nothing preventing you from rolling your own group if you don't like the moderation.

I barely ever ban people. Usually warning them works well. If they insist on being a dick after that, they're out on all chats I mod, and they usually don't come back.

Also, making sure that the community supports your decision is important. If people don't like you when you _technically_ haven't broken any rules, maybe you don't belong. There's only three rules that I enforce:
1. Don't be a dick.
2. Use common sense.
3. **USE COMMON SENSE.**

I feel like when the majority community disagrees with your decisions, you should probably step down and/or reconsider your decision. It gets more complicated when the community is divided on whether your decision is correct, but I believe that should be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

also, nice post digits
Also: groups made from the fallout of the mod abuse usually feel way more personal and close together.
Talk to me when you have 200+
Also: auto unload tab and tab groups are a godsend
Same for tree style tab but it's a tad buggy with e10s
How can you be this ignorant
