We both like open-source shit but if your OS can't run Premiere and Vegas, ffffpfpft
It's a chicken-and-egg problem, and linux is still not fully ready for the desktop simply because of it
And people don't want to switch because of programs that run on windows only, which limits the incentive of porting to linux
