If you have a huge thing to write, use Telegraph, Medium, or even fucking pastebin; that way you don't clog up timelines, don't have to write it in 150 parts, have it be actually readable and you're actually able to edit it.

3 posts is entirely reasonable, but I routinely see people writing entire blog posts using twitter, spanning 30+ tweets. That's not what the platform is for.
