ctrl-alt-del is a high priority interrupt that will fuck up your work sometimes, ctrl-shift-alt just opens task manager.
Also: when your PC gets hella slow it's most probably from running out of memory; it attempts to swap frantically which is always horrible. I usually kept an eye out for that with Process Hacker which has a neat widget with memory usage statistics, but on linux I never have to worry about that it is way smarter about using pagefiles
Except when I _really_ run out of ram and everything locks the fuck up for a few seconds
Also, ntfs is really fucking retarded and past some point it gets fucked up beyond belief until you reformat it completely.
I recommend getting a new HDD, honestly. I did that since I could not afford to lose all of my data on the windows install, and the IO speed difference is staggering (5MB/s vs 70 MB/s)

I don't get how exactly they achieved this result but it is definitely interesting
