O people, servants of ALLAH, O Muslims,
ALLAH says: "Beware of a trial that will not only affect the wrongdoers among you" (Surah Al-Anfal, 25). A trial does not discriminate—it afflicts the wrongdoers and those around them alike. Punishment descends upon everyone: the perpetrators, those who remain silent, and those who are heedless. The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) likened such a scenario to a ship: if the wicked—or even the ignorant and foolish—are allowed to act unchecked, the entire ship will sink.
What is unfolding in Gaza, Sudan, and Syria is a warning for us all, and ALLAH’s punishment could reach every corner. No one should feel secure or distant from these events. The lands burning today seemed far away during the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. Yet, those lands too once believed they were safe from the chaos that struck others before them.
The punishment will encompass us unless we rise to stop these massacres and confront the criminals behind them. What is happening to our brothers and sisters today will inevitably reach us tomorrow. There is no power or strength except through ALLAH.
Whoever truly believes in ALLAH and the Last Day must act now to save themselves from both the torment of Hell and the trials of this world. By ALLAH, if Israel were to overrun Gaza—and let us not forget, it is now invading parts of Lebanon and Syria—it will not stop there. It will turn toward Sinai and Jordan. And what will our rulers do? They, like agents of oppression, will hand over the lands, as Khedive Tawfiq once did, as King AbduLLAH and his grandson King Hussein did, and as Nasser and Sadat did in their time!
We have grown used to seeing these rulers fight their own people while yielding their lands to the enemy. They are nothing more than proxies, paving the way for the occupier until the true invader arrives to seize control.
Woe to us, as our future repeats the mistakes of our past, and our history becomes our destiny once again. Yet we remain lost in heedlessness, drowning in a false sense of awareness. We have become like livestock—bought, sold, and passed from the hands of treacherous rulers to those of foreign occupiers!

The Jewish individual has started crying out that they cannot live outside their state due to the widespread hatred of Jews in the West. Yet, this same individual sees their soldiers enjoying relaxation and vacations in tyrannical Arab states.
The extent of the ignorant and devilish leap that some young people in the Muslim Ummah are making, moving from tribalism to outright immorality, is both disgusting and deeply bewildering.

By ALLAH, if an incident involving mockery of the Kaaba or disrespect in its circumambulation had occurred in a Christian-majority country, Muslims would have united in masses to denounce and oppose it. Yet here, we constantly encounter defenders, justifiers, and those who downplay such actions.
Sufficient for us is ALLAH, and HE is the best disposer of affairs.
They have filled our hearts with sorrow and anguish; may ALLAH break their hearts in return. We find ourselves caught between those who shed our blood and those who mock our faith.

🔻 Why Do We Share These Painful Clips?
At times, I question myself for sharing these raw and unfiltered clips that expose the stark reality of Gaza. These are not polished or beautified images; they are glimpses of deep poverty—heart-wrenching scenes that shake the soul. They lay bare the suffering, leaving nothing hidden, delivering an unspoken message to every Muslim: "These are your brothers and sisters. They endure affliction, and hunger consumes them because they have nothing to eat. Their daily struggle—after defending their faith, their land, and their honor—is simply to find enough food to survive another day and remain steadfast against their enemies."
These images pierce our hearts, but they awaken us. They keep us aware of the weight of our shared responsibility. They remind us that it is our duty to lighten their burdens. Without ALLAH’s mercy and the generosity of Muslims channeled through aid organizations, many of our brothers and sisters would have nothing to quell their hunger. This is no longer about comfort or luxury—it is about fulfilling the most basic and urgent needs, enabling them to preserve their faith, honor, and land. Meanwhile, their enemies, shamelessly supported by disbelievers, are supplied with weapons, manpower, and wealth. Yet, the Muslim Ummah responds hesitantly, offering what is often far too little to sustain Gaza’s defenders.
These painful images teach us profound lessons. Reflect on the narration of Jareer bin AbduLLAH in Sahih Muslim:
"One morning, we were with the Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ when a group of barefoot, barely-clothed people wearing striped woolen cloths arrived, most of them from Mudar. The Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ turned pale upon seeing their dire condition. He entered his house, then returned and instructed Bilal to call the Adhan and Iqamah. He led the prayer and then addressed the people, reciting: {O mankind, fear your LORD, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear ALLAH, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed ALLAH is ever, over you, an Observer.} [An-Nisa: 1] and {O you who have believed, fear ALLAH. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear ALLAH} [Al-Hashr: 18]. He then urged the people to give in charity. Some gave dinars, dirhams, clothes, measures of wheat, or dates—even if it was just half a date. One man from the Ansar brought a large bag that he could barely carry, inspiring others until two piles of food and clothing were gathered. I saw the face of the Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ shine with joy, as bright as gold. He then said: 'Whoever starts a good tradition in Islam will have its reward and the reward of all who follow it, without reducing their reward in the slightest. And whoever starts a bad tradition in Islam will bear its burden and the burden of all who follow it, without reducing their burden in the slightest.'"
The Companion vividly described the poverty of those who came to the Prophet ﷺ—barely covered in animal hides that concealed only their private parts. Yet, this did not stop the Prophet ﷺ from calling the people together and reminding them of the grave injustice of neglecting their brothers and sisters. Poverty is not a fault; the fault lies in the indifference of the wealthy. The dignity of a believer, even in poverty, remains unshaken.
By ALLAH, these scenes only deepen our admiration for a nation that endures hardship with patience, stands firm despite wounds and disasters, and refuses to compromise its faith even in the face of losing wealth, children, and loved ones. May ALLAH bless Gaza, its resilient mothers, and its courageous youth who have humbled the enemies of ALLAH and HIS Messenger ﷺ, burying their evil in its sacred soil.

Come and reflect with me on how occupation through collaborators benefits the Zionist Crusader oppressor even more than direct occupation.
1. Consider these immoral apostates who created a replica of the Kaaba, where women dressed immodestly circumambulate around it. If such an act had been orchestrated by a country in France, Germany, or Britain, the Muslim world—scholars and laypeople alike—would have erupted in outrage. Yet, when this desecration occurs in the very land of the Two Holy Mosques, where the people were once deeply protective of religious practices like the niqab, modesty, and guarding against innovations in faith, the reaction has been muted and feeble. Where is the strong response from the scholars and the wider Islamic community?
2. Look at the ongoing war in Gaza, where immense Islamic solidarity has prevented the oppressor from displacing the people of northern Gaza. Now compare this to how collaborators like #Sisi_Enemy_of_God and Bin Salman have quietly executed forced displacements in places like Egyptian Rafah and Al-Huwaitat with barely any notice. Entire communities have been uprooted, yet the world remains largely unaware. Even now, residents of Warraq Island are resisting forced evictions, but these struggles hardly make headlines.
Reflect on how the same oppressive actions, when carried out by collaborators, receive a fraction of the attention or resistance that they would if committed by a direct occupier.
Do you not see how subtle, plastic shackles can be more dangerous than visible iron chains? And how a snake cloaked in ornate skin can be more treacherous and venomous than a naked, glaring scorpion?

In October 1963, Harold Macmillan, the British Prime Minister, offered his successor, Alec Douglas-Home, a succinct piece of advice:
"My dear boy, as long as you don’t invade Afghanistan, you’ll be absolutely fine."
Over time, this statement has often been rephrased in journalistic circles as: "Rule No. 1 in politics: Never invade Afghanistan."
For some time now, I’ve been contemplating a similar reflection regarding the experiences of Islamic movements. A phrase has taken shape in my mind, encapsulating hard-learned lessons:
"My brother working for the cause of ALLAH, as long as you stay away from Saudi funding, you will be absolutely fine."
Or: "Rule No. 1 in Islamic work: never rely on Saudi funding!"
There is so much to say on this subject—more than a single post, article, or even a book could contain. But here is the distilled essence of it:
You will not find a scholar tied to Saudi funding who is capable of taking an honorable stance—neither in matters of faith nor worldly affairs. At worst, they become advocates of servitude (Madkhali) to rulers other than ALLAH. At best, they remain silent, stagnant, and devoid of any righteous anger for the sanctities of ALLAH.
You will not find a Saudi-funded institution free of financial corruption, personal agendas, or internal strife. Such institutions have consistently failed to uphold the causes of Islam and the Muslim Ummah. At their worst, they distort people's faith, encouraging cowardice and submission. At best, they neglect the most pressing needs of the time and the responsibilities owed to the Ummah.
As for Islamic movements funded by Saudi Arabia, they hold no meaningful position in their respective countries. Such movements often become weak and insignificant, with no real influence in politics or public affairs. If they are not actively harming the Muslim community, they are certainly not contributing to its strength.
Wherever you look, you will not find Saudi wealth elevating Muslims. Instead, it has been a tool for their fragmentation, division, and ruin.
Look at history, starting from the oil boom. Saudi money flooded Afghanistan, fueling divisions among the mujahideen and destroying any hope of Islamic reform, eventually plunging the country into a devastating civil war. In Syria’s blessed revolution, the same money fragmented the opposition, turning every small group into a new faction.
Now, turn to Lebanon.
Lebanon is a battleground of foreign influence, with various sects backed by different patrons—Western, American, Iranian, or Saudi. But where are the Sunnis of Lebanon?
Saudi funding in Lebanon deliberately supported secular Sunni figures while ignoring Islamic movements, including Salafis. This led Lebanon’s Sunni community to become entirely dependent on the Hariri family. And what influence does the Hariri family hold in Lebanon today?
To clarify, Saudi Arabia did not entirely ignore the Salafis. It funded them—but only to ensure they remained passive, without political, military, or influential presence.
Now compare: what have Iran achieved for the Shia and Hezbollah? What have Western powers done for the Christians and Druze? Meanwhile, Saudi-backed Sunnis, including the Hariri family, became the weakest link. When Saudi Arabia turned against Hariri and detained him, it took Macron himself to remind Saudi Arabia of its place and secure Hariri’s release.
During the recent conflict in Lebanon, Hezbollah intervened in support of Gaza, prompting concerns that this might rehabilitate its reputation following its involvement in Syria. Simultaneously, the Dawn Forces, affiliated with the Sunni Islamic Group in Lebanon, also took action. In contrast, entities associated with Saudi Arabia not only refrained from participating in this noble and heroic jihad but also mocked and actively discouraged such efforts.

This noble and heroic effort in support of Gaza, whether or not viewed as a religious obligation, is undeniably a political necessity. It serves as a crucial counterbalance to prevent the Shia from monopolizing the narrative and rehabilitating their reputation without challenge.
Houthis in Yemen tells a similar story. Saudi Arabia—often praised by the naive and hypocritical as the "standard-bearer of Tawheed and Salafism"—initially supported the Houthis to suppress the Muslim Brotherhood (Sunnis). But when the Houthis took control of Yemen, Saudi Arabia failed to achieve any meaningful success in seven years of war. Meanwhile, the Houthis stood firmly for Gaza, closed the Red Sea to Israeli ships, and even targeted American vessels.
If failure had a name, it would be dependence on Saudi Arabia.
Name a party, organization, or movement funded by Saudi Arabia that has succeeded in its country or achieved its objectives. There isn’t one.
Name a war that Saudi Arabia has fought and won. You won’t find one—even though it ranks among the highest spenders on military defense globally.
And what of its allies? Name another country that spends so lavishly on allies, only to be publicly humiliated by them. Trump himself famously said, "I am protecting the Saudi king’s behind!"

Saudi Arabia is endowed with resources and advantages that, if harnessed by another nation, could make it a dominant power both regionally and globally. The country has experienced an unprecedented oil boom, accumulating immense wealth. It holds a unique spiritual status in the Muslim world, capable of inspiring legions of volunteers willing to sacrifice their lives without seeking material reward or recognition. Its vast territory lies at the heart of a geopolitically significant region, and it enjoys a secure environment, free from deep-rooted historical hostilities.
Yet, instead of leveraging these advantages for growth and unity, Saudi Arabia has often used them to undermine itself, harm its own interests, and damage its reputation. More tragically, it has actively contributed to the fragmentation, suffering, and weakening of the Muslim world. Today, its adversaries stand at its borders in the east, north, and south. Despite these threats, Saudi Arabia has consistently acted as a tool for foreign powers it cannot fully trust—first the British, then the Americans, and now the Israelis.
Domestically, a wave of blasphemy, moral corruption, and societal decay has erupted like a volcano within the kingdom. It appears intent on demonstrating its ability to challenge the most sacred values, dismantle long-standing principles, and impose sweeping social transformations. These changes surpass even the reforms of Atatürk in Turkey, the Shah in Iran, Muhammad Ali and Nasser in Egypt, or Bourguiba in Tunisia.
If a nation sought to deliberately sabotage itself, it could hardly do a more effective job.
Consider this: during the Gulf War, the Islamic Salvation Front in Algeria offered to send ten of their youth to defend Saudi Arabia against Saddam’s forces, ensuring that the kingdom would not need to rely on American troops. What was Saudi Arabia’s response? It funded the killing of these young men and supported the military coup that crushed the Algerian people's aspirations.
When Hazem Abu Ismail emerged as a potential presidential candidate in Egypt, Saudi Arabia reportedly reacted with panic. Its princes were said to have lost sleep over the possibility of his victory. Mustafa Al-Fiqi even mentioned this publicly in a recorded statement. And then there is the case of Morsi.
As for Gaza’s "Green Movement," its story is equally heartbreaking and laden with lessons.
What rational state would overlook the chance to support a movement like the Green Movement—a remarkable and historic model of resistance—yet choose instead to align itself with Israel?! Imagine if this movement were Shiite, based in a Shiite Gaza, and fully backed by Iran, as Hezbollah is. The resulting strength, influence, and global reach Iran would achieve in such a scenario are almost unimaginable.
There is so much to discuss and countless stories to share—far more than could ever fit into a single post, article, or even a book.
What has been mentioned above offers only a glimpse and a summary.
The essential lesson to remember is this:
"Rule No. 1 in Islamic work: never rely on Saudi funding!"

Major wars have a defining characteristic: once they begin, controlling their trajectory becomes incredibly difficult. Even the opposing side may seek to end the conflict but find themselves unable to do so due to various obstacles. History demonstrates this reality clearly. World War I, expected to last only a few months, dragged on for four years, while World War II extended for seven.
In such circumstances, while negotiators should exercise the necessary flexibility, calls from some of the nation’s noble leaders and esteemed figures to halt the battle reveal a misunderstanding of the nature of major wars. In such conflicts, ceasing the fight offers no outcome other than surrender and humiliation—there is no alternative. Understanding this reality is essential to rallying people around the duty of jihad, steadfastness, and perseverance.
O ALLAH, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, grant permission for this war to conclude.
{Our LORD, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.}

A kind and noble brother from the Islamic Maghreb has graciously translated my series, 'In the Corridors of the Seerah,' into English.
This series is a collection of brief and thoughtful episodes that were broadcast during Ramadan two years ago. It was part of the productions by the World Organization of the Supporters of the Prophet ﷺ and aimed to shed light on unique insights and reflections from the Seerah that are often overlooked by readers.
In his continued generosity, he compiled these translations into a booklet.
I sincerely pray to ALLAH, the Most Glorious and Exalted, to place this effort in his scale of good deeds, accept it from both of us, and make it purely for HIS sake.

On this day, November 24, thirty-five years ago, one of the most remarkable figures of our era and a deeply influential leader in the Muslim Ummah returned to his LORD. This was a man whom an orientalist, even three decades after his passing, described as the leader of a "caravan" that continues its journey to this day.
He was the great Palestinian scholar, martyr, and graduate of Al-Azhar University: Sheikh Abdullah Azzam.
It is vital for every Muslim to remember and honor such a heroic individual—a man filled with unparalleled zeal, steadfast determination, a passionate spirit, immense courage, and prolific contributions through his writings. Sheikh Abdullah Azzam left this world before reaching the age of fifty, yet his impact—through both his words and deeds—far exceeds what many achieve in much longer lifetimes.

These past two weeks have been incredibly busy, leaving me unable to meet anyone or respond to most phone calls.
This seems like an appropriate time to share something I've long wished to express. I hesitated before, concerned people might think I was referring to them specifically. Now, having neither visited nor received visitors, I feel safe sharing these thoughts.
By ALLAH, this is sincere advice I hope everyone takes to heart. Many remain silent about this due to shyness. I've noticed that ninety percent of requested visits could have been effectively handled through a simple phone call.
Similarly, ninety percent of those who persistently tried calling could have achieved their purpose through a written or voice message. Many in-person visits could have been replaced by a message, and numerous lengthy messages could have been condensed to just a line or two.
Proper etiquette suggests not calling someone you don't know. Instead, leave a message introducing yourself and clearly stating your purpose. It's draining when someone calls, leaves just a greeting, waits for a response, then begins a lengthy introduction before finally mentioning their actual need. This approach consumes valuable time and energy.
Often, these interactions - whether visits, calls, or messages - serve little practical purpose. They become mere exercises in reassurance, venting, or casual conversation. Sometimes they involve good discussion but lead to no meaningful action, or touch upon minor matters that cannot be changed due to circumstances.
We live in an era where time's blessings have diminished, determination has weakened, and responsibilities have multiplied. People wish days were 48 or 72 hours long, yet they barely complete a tenth of their daily duties. Each month passes with tasks accumulating more than the previous one.
Therefore, help your brothers use their time wisely. May ALLAH bestow mercy upon Imam Al-Banna, who placed a sign on his door reading: "Duties exceed available time, so help others benefit from theirs."
This situation forces many into harmful patterns. Some completely withdraw from responding or meeting others, making excuses. Others, mindful of people's feelings, overextend themselves, creating problems in their family life, work, and relationships. Moreover, worship duties gradually diminish until they nearly vanish - a grave consequence one faces in the Afterlife.
In such circumstances, I truly understood some of what the Prophet ﷺ experienced, though shyness prevented him from expressing it. Until the Quran provided guidance for believers' conduct, as ALLAH says: "...and when you have eaten, disperse without seeking to remain for conversation. Indeed, that [behavior] was troubling the Prophet, and He is shy of [dismissing] you. But ALLAH is not shy of the truth..." Similarly, ALLAH guides: "...And if it is said to you, "Go back," then go back; it is purer for you..."

This is an article titled:
The Public Fall of the Saudi Regime Opens Doors of Action for the Ummah – So Prepare Yourselves.
The article is 15 pages long. Initially, it was much shorter, but after consulting a noble brother for feedback, he suggested simplifying the content and adding more details, as the original was highly condensed and focused. Following his advice, I expanded the article—may ALLAH reward him for his input.
Two versions of the article are available: one with a larger font for easier reading on mobile devices and another in Word format for those who wish to edit or reference it.
