Last night at the "Daira" festival @daira_fest was truly magical! It was a pleasure to present the amazing Iranian Ensemble Fakhteh @Hamnavazan_Fakhteh – their contemporary take on the Persian "dastgah" tradition completely captivated the audience. My sincere gratitude goes to Igor Pankov, the festival team, Khashayar Parsa and the musicians for this special concert. Thank you all for the wonderfully warm evening! ❤️

On October 29, 2025, my composition Inertia was performed by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble (MCME) at the 6th Hangzhou Contemporary Music Festival in #Hangzhou, #China.
It was an honor to have Inertia featured among such inspiring contemporary works and performed by one of the leading ensembles in new music today. Grateful to the festival organizers, the musicians of MCME, and everyone who contributed to this memorable event.

I am sharing this orchestral work again for those who haven’t had the chance to hear it yet)
My composition, Hesar, is deeply rooted in the traditional Persian music system of Dastgāh, specifically inspired by the "Hesar" section of Dastgāh-e Čahārgāh.
The title also pays homage to the ancient Tepe Hissar or Tappeh Hesār (in Persian تپه حصار), a remarkable archaeological site in Iran’s Semnan province with an uninterrupted history from the 5th to the 2nd millennium BC.
