Excellent.
ChatGPT just told me that Democrats have a slim majority in the Senate. Clearly some kinks still to work out.
It is becoming clear that we have a large subset of the church that worships the ideal of religious plurality more than they worship the God of the Bible. They seem to have little zeal for the glory of His name and no care when other names are raised up against His.

We may have to tolerate pagan statues in this nation, but we should never act as if their presence in our public spaces is an inconsequential thing, of little significance. It is a blemish and shame on our nation.
I now understand exactly what John MacArthur meant when he said he is not here to preach the virtue of religious liberty. He's here to preach the supremacy of the God of the Bible.
When I was in high school, I had a favorite teacher. History. Mr. Also was passionate about his subject and really invested in our learning. One day, while trying to call the class to order, a crude, bruiser of a girl with a loud mouth yelled back at him, "why don't you try to teach something interesting!"

I shot back, "Why don't you try to put together the IQ points to learn it."

Well, she naturally said she'd see me after class to kick my... you get the idea. (I was fine, a couple of guy friends offered an escort until she probably dropped out or something. Don't remember.)

Next day, Mr. Also (who was actually kind of liberal and part of the reason I liked him was because he always welcomed my good-natured debate) told me with a laugh that, while he appreciated the vote of confidence, I didn't need to take up his cause against this girl. He could handle it.

I think of that now because I realized tonight I still do this. I will still take up fights against crude, belligerent mockers for teachers I value even though they're not asking me for any help. Guess at this point I'm not going to change. 😂
And incidentally, this has earned me my most devoted critics. They don't have fits about what I say or write so much as they go into teeth-gnashing fury when I won't join the girls-in-solidarity crowd and instead defend teachers they don't like.
Well this is wonderful.
Round three, here we go. (Prayers for minimal side effects and follicular preservation working so far, thank you to all who have offered some up. Grateful ❤️)
Brian to me just now after third nurse asked about our church plans for Easter and shared services they’re attending—“it’s so nice living in a place where so many people are Christians.”

(I know I know, we can’t know their hearts, but man the way they care and show the love of Christ, hard to believe they don’t mean it).
Praise the Lord for answered prayers in rescuing the Sullivans!
Does this sound like a non-partisan ministry to you??
He’s the defender of a faith alright. It’s just not Christianity.

Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free, hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me!!

Wonderful to hear these words sung at the White House!
Man chemo really changes up your idea of what a productive day looks like. Like today I’m going to measure it by whether I manage to get my hair washed and dried to maybe make it to church tomorrow. Sigh.
Though the fact that my hair is still on my head to wash and dry is a major victory, so praising God for that!
Casting doubt on the Gospel of John the day before Resurrection Sunday mind you….
Excellent verse to bring to the table.
