This is a classic presentation of Infectious mononucleosis ✅
Key clue:
👉 Positive heterophile antibody test (Monospot test)
This is the hallmark lab finding.
🧠 Why this diagnosis?
Fever + severe sore throat
Fatigue
Lymphadenopathy (especially posterior cervical)
Splenomegaly
Atypical lymphocytes (reactive CD8+ T cells)
Cause:
👉 Epstein-Barr virus
⚠️ Important exam pearl:
Avoid ampicillin/amoxicillin → causes rash
Risk of splenic rupture → no contact sports
Key clue:
👉 Positive heterophile antibody test (Monospot test)

Painless bleeding → نزيف بدون ألم، ودي علامة كلاسيكية جدًا.
Late pregnancy → غالبًا في الثلث الثالث.
No abdominal pain → painless
.
Stable condition → الأم غالبًا مستقرة لو النزيف ما شديد.
الفكرة الأساسية: المشيمة تكون نازلة ومغطية جزء أو كل الـ internal os، فلما يحصل تمدد في عنق الرحم يبدأ النزيف.
مهم: في suspected placenta previa ممنوع digital vaginal examination لحدي ما يتأكد الوضع بالـ ultrasound، لأنه ممكن يزيد النزيف.
الـ clues البتدل عليها:
