Musk's Twitter is not perfect, but this kind of thing is an example of why we should be glad he took it over.

Virtually every company, organisation and institution in our society has been captured by the activist left and is completely under their control, working towards their ends, and impervious to demands for objectivity. On Twitter, they were able to censor and deplatform at will, break their own rules, and apply rules selectively. They were also able to stamp controversial (eg. right-wing) tweets with "fact checks" by accredited fact checker organisations that are also owned and dominated by them. All of this was defended by a mass media that is also owned and dominated by them, and allowed to continue by a legal system that is similarly outrageously biased.

By introducing Community Notes, relaxing the censorship and altering the meaning of the Blue Check, Musk has transformed Twitter into perhaps the one single stronghold in our society that is, to at least some extent, open to impartial truth.
